- The impressively talented Kaushiki Chakraborty renders Raga Kedar in her album titled A Journey Begins. The daughter of famous Hindustani classical singer Ajoy Chakraborty, Kaushiki hails from a well-known musical family of Calcutta. She has been trained in the gayaki style of the Patiala gharana and groomed at Sangeet Research Academy where her father was teacher. Her repertoire covers Khayals and Thumris and she has performed on various prestigious stages in India and abroad.

I have never been a fan of classical music. Was just exploring and stumbled upon her recitations. It kept pulling me like magnetic. Magical and inspiring personality. Just see her interview with the legend SM and you will understand how humble and gracious this lady is. My humble regards to Kaushiki and Pandit Ajay Chakraborty.
