Since it is a water based ink, can water be added if the screen begins to dry?

Yes you can, and that happened during this training. If you find that the screen is beginning to 'dry out' you can simply 'mist' the screen with a spray bottle slightly. If you do not flood the screen between prints, this can happen quite quickly, so make sure that you flood the screen between each print, especially if you need to step away for a few seconds.
