  • Chet was raised to be completely independent, never needing to ask for help. He says it took him getting older and being honest with himself to listen to those around him and accept assistance, specifically, from a service dog. Since receiving Service Dog Miles from Canine Companions, Chet says his entire world has changed beyond anything he imagined.

Arizona V and I graduated in February 2023, and other than my personal medical experiences I can and will echo Chet's every word. Zona has been a life changer for me as have all the other thousands of dogs before her and those that will come after. A simple thank you isn't enough, but THANK YOU Canine Companions and all the multitudes of volunteers, puppy raisers, birth caregivers, trainers, donors. We all love and appreciate everything you do
