Great technique, don't know why I never thought of it as it's the way I set exposures for 35mm film prints 40 years ago. Well, actually I do know why, I've really not done much photography until quite recently, and only just got a decent printer, I'd forgotten it all.

Very helpful! Please keep these videos coming. I've been printing for years but I'm still learning things and getting different perspectives from your videos! A valuable resource.

Excellent video - I prefer this technique to the one I've used in the past of printing smaller images on a sheet.

I have now had a chance to try this technique on one of my images and am pleased with the outcome.
A slight (potential) hiccup - as I'd already adjusted the exposure in the original edit, a bit of mental arithmetic was needed to do the various exposure settings on the virtual copies.
Next time I might go for one-third stop intervals as I can do this using the quick develop in the Library Module. This does adjustments relative to any already added. So, for example, if I've already added 0.2 exposure in the develop module, the one-third stop in quick develop in the library module will be relative to this - i.e. it will be a total of 0.5 stops.
The key here is that exposure settings in quick develop are relative settings whereas those in the develop module are absolute.

A great idea, thanks. Question : is it possible to run this idea in capture one too? Lg Klaus
