I can’t be the only one who was waiting for Johnathan Majors to turn blue the entire episode, was I?

Mobius was EASILY my favorite character. He felt so real and had a good sense of humor while still trying to get his job done. He has the audience point of view of Loki in this timeline trying to break through to who Loki really is. I can’t wait for him to get back next season.

I think the most convincing part of the romance is that they are both awkward with eachother because of the lack of love they’ve both been given 😂

My grand scheme for the MCU is for Galactus to reset everything, cutting back to Iron Man 1 pre-Tony Stark exploding and then just... credits. No more shows or movies. Nothing MCU.

In the first episode, when Loki is checked into the TVA, his file says “Sex: Fluid,” so I guess we actually did get some confirmation of him being gender fluid, even though Disney probably won’t want to explore it.

There is so much they can do with the Marvel cinematic universe. Was really impressed overall by how they wrapped up the first season. Also the music was top notch!

On Loki's TVA file, he is marked as gender fluid. Admittedly it's more of a "we can cut it out in China" kind of representation, but hey!

I liked when Kang or whatever figured out that he didn’t know what was gonna happen by dropping a marble. I don’t know why, but I really liked that.

Fun fact: In the original Norse myths of Loki he cuts off Thors wifes hair in revenge and is later threatened to have all his bones broken if he doesn't fix it. I think that was where they got the idea for the time loop scene with Lady Sif.

Infinity Stones or Gems are useless outside of their respective Dimensions
So the TVA using them as paperweights makes a whole lot of sense.

"He Who Remains" had to be laid back, oddly normal and even dumb (as in not expecting Sylvie's reaction) due to what his next character/variant will become. Episode 6 of Loki was more of a bridge episode leading to Season 2. Unfortunately that "bridge" won't complete until probably January 2022.

My only beef with this show is the fighting choreography. It’s so stiff and just not what I expect from Marvel. I know it’s a show and note a movie, but it’s so bad at times. Other than that, I love the show. The story is great and I love how creative they got with it.

I would argue that Loki IS gender fluid, because being gender fluid is about what you, personally, identify as (in this case is actually not identifying as having a fixed gender so female and male are interchangeable) and being gender fluid does not affect sexuality or sexual orientation. You can be a born male that identifies as gender fluid and still like both males and females. With that said-
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Absolutelty love it, feels like the best thing Marvel has done in a while. The final episode was a bit slow at first, but ended in a very surprising way in my eyes. Episode 4 and 5 alone were fantastic.

MCU was exciting before Loki. Now it's even more since we're getting the multiverse (X-men, Spiderman).

The other Lokis were there to reenforce the idea of Kang being terrified of himself. No matter what universe all the Lokis were flawed and ultimately caused chaos so when Kang said he was scared of himself Loki immediately understood. Sylvie did not because she didn't have that experience with the other Lokis. Or fighting the Avengers for that matter.

So yeah, Loki would totally fall for himself, but sylvie is nothing like Loki, she had a totally different life and a totally different personality. And Loki himself feels just underpowered, he got beaten and outsmarted by everyone all the time and he just feels to much like an idiot. It is what I didn’t like about Loki in the mcu before and it is still there now.

honestly, the absolute best part of the show Has to be tom hiddleston. his performance as loki was amazing, and his charisma really carried every single scene he was in (and probably contributed to everyone’s love for this character in the first place)

My only problem with is is that its implied that when (spoiler) sylivie kills the immortus varient it creates all the alternate timlines but since loki is in the marvel multiverse, there already was infinite universes/timelines.

    Isn’t “selfcest” just narcissism? 😅
    I mean , it was okay 🙂
I like the ending, quite a lot. I think what kind of did it for me was the romance tbh. I really dont understand why she had to be a romantic interest. Just let men and women be friends. The fuck?💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
But I do like Wanda Vision more tbh. Way more. And Wanda in General. The show is over criticized imo.

WandaVision - Psychological trauma disguised as a sitcom.
Falcon and the Winter Soldier - Commentary of race relations in America disguised as a action series.
Loki - Love story disguised as a reality warping time heist?
I kinda see Marvel’s formula. It’s really interesting for sure.

I don't really understand the criticism some people have for it being too slow or boring. Most of my issues with the show, fight choreography notwithstanding, had to do with not having enough time with characters the plot would have benefited from. I really wanted one more episode for some of the more poorly or awkwardly developed characters and relationships to marinate. Sylvie and Mobius especially needed a little more time. For Sylvie to more effectively establish her trust issues and budding romance with Loki. And Mobius to do the buddy cop thing with Loki and sell the other TVA characters through their interactions with him.

Hey, just wanted to point out that people were not mad because Loki was not genderfluid, they were mad because the show runners stated multiple times that he was and that it was going to be in the show and then didn’t deliver on it happening.

If the Avengers did everything they were suppose to do in Endgame, wouldn't that mean what Loki did was in line with what was suppose to occur? If Loki never took the tesseract, Tony and Steve wouldn't have gone back to the 70's for it and they wouldn't get more Pym particles. If they actually got the tesseract in New York, Tony and Steve would be considered variants since they didn't go back to 1970.
    1. Because a thing can’t happen doesn’t mean we can’t have morals about it.
Fantasy creates moral questions that we can create our own morals with even if they will never happen. God itself is a concept we can’t prove or disapprove and we have morals based on the idea.
Being in a relationship with an alternative version of yourself is wrong on many levels.
-You have the same parents. Same DNA
-You have no privacy since you know everything that you’ve been through.
-Trust is thrown out the window since you’d know yourself well enough.
-You already know the person so throw out the idea of getting to know them.
The idea could have been handled amazingly if they treated it as him learning to accept himself in a interpersonal level not a romantically manner.
    2. Him being Gender-fluid would have changed nothing so I don’t get why you think it would have been better. Also him being said to be Genderfluid is a play on his literal shapeshifting ability.
(Plus he hasn’t stated not to be genderfluid so I don’t know how you discredit that)
    3. The series sucks because:
-His character is inconsistent in terms of fighting ability and personal behavior.
-His female counterpart is actually a better MC
-The TVA contradicts itself too much
-It breaks all the world building the MCU has been setting up for decades.

I dont get the praise for this Show. You took Loki, someone who just tryd to commit genocide on an entire race, tryd to conquered earth , killed Thousands of People and beat Shield to its knees by himself and you turn him into this bumbling, winy morone. He breaks down crying upon watching what amounts to a youtube recap of the MCU. Is that good writing ? Are we so far down the quality Scale that this is worth praising?

I think I’m the only one who didn’t read “romantic tension” into the Sylvia/Loki relationship dynamic, even though it’s clear that’s literally the angle they were going for. To me they played it as a insight on “self love”, seeing a reflection of themselves (or at least for Loki) and having a sincere appreciation for what they see. This embodiment of the love for themselves is in someone else, who is still them… it’s why Sylvie/Loki is nothing like “twincest” IMO even if it’s supposedly a “romance”.

I'm not sure if selfcest is morally right or not, but I can say this: It does exist in our world due to doujin artists saying "Reality can be whatever I want", and let me tell you...Whooo boy, is it a wild ride...This series may have awakened a second Renaissance in that Tag Genre and I am all for- and I should probably stop talking, now.

you was expecting the villian to be a cosmic entity like the living tribunal ( since he's job is to look watch over the multivers and keep it together) or when they said "he who created all" i thought they meant "the one above all" but he is way to strong and can't be beatin. so i thought it was gonna be the beyonder, but man was i suprised when they showed kang the conqueror, at first i though the villian for phase 4 was gonna be galactus(and the fanstastic four were gonna show up or silver surfer) but i remembered. Thanos was a universal level threat so they had to make an even bigger threat, so kang makes a perfect villain since he conquers many universes making him multiverse level threat. And who know's they'll change him like they did with thanos and make him more cooler to the general puplic. man the mcu is doing so well, it just make's me thing if the dc got their shit together, they could pull of amazing things to. and it's not like dc doesn't have good charecters. they have amazing villians and hero's. imagine a dc cinematic universe with the teen titans, the legion of doom, the league of assassin's, braniac, all the flash hero's, doomsday, darkside and all of apokalypes, superman's cousin and many more like damian wayne, nightwing. so many charecters that are doing so well in the animated dc universe. imagine how batman beyond would look the big screen, or the all lantern core. so many charecters that are great yet they aren't getting their heads together.
