How to Multicam using Timecode in Adobe Premiere 2024

Hi! Here is a not so exciting but maybe useful tutorial for editors looking to sync tons of clips whose videographer had the foresight to use timecode sync. If you're used to audio sync this method is a whole new world of convenient and is absolutely the right route if you're working on a documentary.
EDIT: An alternate solution for incorporating slowmo 24p footage is to interpret it as their original framerate (in my case 120fps) before syncing. If the camera recorded proper timecode this should result in clips that appear at the right time and don't overwrite any other clips. You should label them differently so you know you can hypothetically slow them down.

Hi I saw your video it’s very interesting and helpful . I have two camera footages. The audio on one of the camera is damaged but the other one is ok. And it’s hard to sync the two camera. I m trying to sync using time code instead of audio. I follow your tutorial and it doesn’t sync. I follow all the steps. Do you have any suggestions?

Did your cameras record "timecode"? This is different from just normal duration based timecode. One way to find out is if your clips start at any timecode other than 00:00:00. If not then your best bet is syncing manually using other context clues :/
