Ah yes O’Hare Airport, Fun fact: I actually got a tour of all of the airport by my uncle, who at the time was an ORD employee. I got to see all the hangers and all of the private jets, it was a cool once in a lifetime experience.
2:35 I'm part Serbian and seeing Air Serbia grow as a company after the downfall of JAT is amazing. How they come to LAX one day! Hope to see more vlogs :)
I never flew the CSeries for now, but I hope I will be able to fly it next summer on a transatlantic flight through Canada. The Delta cabin is always welcoming for me, last time I flew Delta was on August 2023 from CHS to LGA on their E175! (Just to give a quick notice for some who may be confused, the A220 is owned at 75% by Airbus and 25% by the « Gouvernement du Québec ».)
I remember flying an A220-100 from SEA to San Diego. At the end of the flight I got to see the cockpit and got wings and got this really cool delta card souvenir
@@ice711real , I have a WILD question. Will you fly with me to Nashville? The flight is AA 3908, March 27, at 10:05 am. Will you come ( just respond to me ye or no)
wow! amazing tripreport. been a long time since ive been in an aircraft. hopefully one day i might be able to go on one! the a220 is a beautiful aircraft and a nice sight here at toronto international airport
Man, i would have loved to fly that approach into LaGurdia, so lucky you were able to get those amazing views coming in. I hear the approach at night, with all the city lights is quite the spectacle!
It’s incorrect to even call this plane a regional jet. Couple weeks ago I flew the 220 from Boston to San Jose (coast to coast) and it has a longer range than an A320.
It does seem like quite a quiet plane to fly, but that whale-like noise when making adjustments to the throttle on the GTF engine seems pretty loud, at least on camera. I live under a flight approach path and hear that noise clearly from the ground sometimes, and it’s always an A220. It’s a lot louder than normal aircraft engines, maybe even louder than a 747! Does anyone agree? We like to call it the “Whale-220” in our household.
Classic view of Manhattan on the approach to LGA Rwy4. To quote Mick Jagger's lyrical opinion of NYC, "Go ahead, bite the Big Apple, don't mind the maggots." Nice job on this video, really enjoyed it! (Edit: your pilot only used 4,300' of runway on that landing. Impressive.)
A routinely fantastic video and job! I admittedly I am very delighted to be supporting you in the best ways possible, and continue on producing your incredibly inspiring and amazing work, including to share it all around and to support others great contents for their betters, as I’m striving to do! Wookie howl noises galore! 😍😍 Gotta get myself on an a220 sometime, I actually live on the approach path into LHR and can hear those a220 "wookie" noises from my house when they turn onto to finals!
@@ice711real Sounds pretty similar but a bit further away of course, I do have a video of you're interested Still, it is awsome and one of my favourite sounds in aviation
Ice711 i have ideas for future trip reports. 1. Maybe record going in the check in, i done that 2. Maybe record going a restaurant in the departure lounge and watch the planes fly in and out in a window 3. Record going to gate! 4. After arriving, ask if you can go in the cockpit! 5. I get to fly once a year (exept regional flights at my destination) so i have seen a220 only a few times and never been on one so cool to see this video
ah yes, the A220, a plane that turns the autopilot on without warning, i love it (there were two near misses caused by inadvertent autopilot engagement) anyways, heres my bet, you will reach 100k by the end of the year OR by february of the next year. hope you can reach the big milestone! cant give you money cause argentina moment but count with the support of us, the subs!
Ice, I was wondering if u wanted to fly with me in first class. I have a trip to Toronto booked, and I looked at it today and the first class seats were relatively cheap for 230$ for a 1hr 50 min flight. I have been a supporter for a long time, and I was just mentioning this cause you have never flown first class before, and it would be a huge hit with your viewers, and there is only 1 video by a major UA-camr that flew AA e170/175 first class. But with all of that said, if you wanted to join me, the flight is from ORD-YYZ on Tuesday, August 6 at 9:50 am. But yeah, it is totally fine if you can’t, it was just a huge idea that I made. Thank you! ZG
These are some of the best planes for passengers that Delta flies. The worst ones for now are perhaps a portion of the 737-800 fleet, though there are currently 4 versions of those flying around. Many still feature small, laggy, often non-functional touch screens, and the majority don’t have head rests, though head rests and 10 inch screens are slowly being added to the small-screened ones in particular. (They’ll all be better by 2025 most likely.) The small screens have the same features minus the USB port, and the headphone jack is in the arm rest. Also the flight tracker is 2D and isn’t interactive, it just flips through different views. The 3D flight trackers are only on the very newest screens.
Really weird (still to this day for me) seeing Delta not be at Terminal 2 in O'Hare LOL! But Terminal 5 looks pretty boss now with all the recent work done. - Red
When you started to show T5, I imagined being a 1:500 person in your diorama T5!!! How come no one noticed Ice711 in person walking around with a cam???!!!
Ninth comment for my goal: Wanted to mention, I had an international stopover in chicago and it is a nice airport. Only problem was I'm not the biggest fan of United whose hub is there and when I was taking off from there it took so long to get to the runway! They have like 7 which is the most of any airport, am I correct?
