    This really spoke to me, thank you so much for sharing! As an RN of almost 30 years (US), I have always loved aesthetics and I’m venturing into starting my own business in the next few months. Your channel is instrumental in my confidence. Thanks so much!

    Excellent and masterful presentation of the principles of success. “The secret of patient care” will always remain “caring for the patient.”

    I've been an esthetician for years. I have the highest qualifications for my career that I can get in my country. I've studied to do lasers and microneedling as well as PMU. I am an educator as well for an accredited school. I am going to the UK to train in advanced aestetics, however in my country only a doctor can inject so I've redone my high school certificate, did many premed courses and worked hard to get into medical school. Your channel has kept me focused on my goal. Cant wait to attend some of your courses too! Thank you Dr Tim. I am so grateful for your videos. I'm going to be an aesthetic doctor ❤️✨

    I have often struggled with the way my colleagues talk about and treating their patients, questioning, if I am cut out for the field of aesthetics. Your holistic, kind, approach which seems to be based on a philosophy respectful towards the individual rather than sensationalism and greed is very reassuring. I too can offer aesthetic procedures while staying true to myself and my values. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts!

    Thank you so much for being such an excellent educator and raising the bar for aesthetics. I have worked in emergency medicine for 15 years and now have a private clinic and have added on aesthetics. I love procedures and missed performing them in private practice. But, I never felt trained until I watched your courses. FINALLY - medical science, pharmacology, and anatomy review for a medical 'aesthetic' procedure.

    Dr. Pearce, I’m a medical sales rep and licensed RN who wants to start an aesthetics clinic….but I don’t want to do the injections. I want to run the business side of things.
    Any advice on how to find a medical director in the state of Tennessee?
    I’ve spoken to a few physicians about this, but I have to be careful because it is a conflict of interest with my current role. It’s been more difficult to find a physician with an entrepreneurial mindset than I thought it would be.

    I really want to do facial aesthetics courses with botox and dermal filler but I don't know where to find out about the course..I found a lot of sites on the internet where I can do the course..but I don't know what I should be at careful when I take a course ... to give me a certificate and be accredited? I mention that I am not a nurse or a doctor

      We can only comment from a medical professional point of view as we would recommend training from a medic with approved and accredited teaching qualifications. With good reviews of course. At SkinViva we provide training from basic all the way through to advanced and out most in-depth training is the mastery programme.
      Reviews are very important when it comes to finding a good trainer.
      Kind regards Mary. Clinical advisor for Dr Tim

    Hi Tim, what are Botox products available in the Uk and how to acquire them please. I am a retired ophthalmologist and hate no patients contact.

      Without the relevant qualifications the pharmacies won’t dispense the toxin to you. There a specific aesthetic pharmacies that you affiliate with once training has been completed. If you do not prescribe then you will also need a prescribing partner too once training has been completed.

    Is it imp for you to be a doctor to be a succesful aesthetic?

    • @DrTimPearce
      @DrTimPearce  Рік тому +1

      It helps- but it's not necessary. There are many extremely succesful non-doctor clinicians.

    Just to get this straight… you believe that if someone has dyslexia, they shouldn’t be working in aesthetics, or be trusted with injectables?
    Some of the greatest minds in history were neurodivergent Tim, please get your head in the modern day.
    You are not the first medic I’ve seen that’s been so desperate to get rid of the non medic competition, that they resort to out right discrimination and classism.

    • @DrTimPearce
      @DrTimPearce  2 роки тому +2

      You may have missed something very important.
      Neuro divergent people are welcome to apply themselves to being doctors, pilots etc and many many do very successfully, but they still need to be able to read and write. This is clearly not the message from this training provider ... The message is, "we will train anyone if you pay, and let the patients be dammed".
      If you took it any other way you misunderstood, but If you think freedom to practice is more important than proving competence then we will never agree.

    • @DrTimPearce
      @DrTimPearce  2 роки тому +1

      Not sure what class has to do with it, the full spectrum of society is represented in qualified professionals.

    • @davidhammonds2405
      @davidhammonds2405 2 роки тому

      @@DrTimPearce I do very much agree that there needs to be an official qualification in aesthetics with a proper course structure and a recognised certificate at the end. There are some terrible training providers in the UK that really do just see pound signs above all else and that needs to be stopped.
      For too long now I have seen medical professionals insulting non medics on social media posts and implying that they are unintelligent, or somehow beneath them. As a neurodivergent non medic practicing aesthetics I find it hurtful, so forgive me for being upset by comments about reading and writing.
      It’s a difficult position for many non medics because going back to University to do a medical degree that’s unrelated to aesthetics seems like a waste of time and is also taking away an opportunity from someone who genuinely wants to pursue a career in that profession.

      You're mixing dyslexia with analphabetism. Those are two very different things, apples and oranges. Please do not make assumptions and comment on a topic you know nothing about.
