Ok, so this video came out almost two years ago and I've been getting comments saying that you can, in fact, fast travel. I do appreciate the correction, but at the same time my point still stands that this game is heavy on the backtracking, and the fact that you get the ability to fast travel in the Mars Lighthouse (the last main dungeon in the game) doesn't help.

Hey man I just want to say "thank you" because to me golden sun was an amazing game it got me through a hard spot in my parents relationship. I would sit in my room with the door locked, headphones on, and play golden sun with a little headlamp (GBA). For some reason your video brought back a lot of memories especially those sound effects for the combat. Thanks man I hope you're still making videos btw,
Golden Sun shows you that not every JRPG is Black and White. It shows it's gray area where you were the villian in the first game without knowing it and it tells you that not all antagonists are villians. Personally, Golden Sun and Golden Sun: Lost Age are technically one game. Which is why both of them together make one of the best JRPGs of all time.
I know, I really hope in the future they remake 1 and TLA as a single game (with the option to start at TLA or 1 and to also go to everywhere from GS 1 in TLA too.

One of my favorite, most nostalgic series. TLA is my personal favorite as it was the first one I played. Sad that the series sorta just died though, I hope it returns one day.

quickhakker thats right considering you need Teleport to begin accessing the Super Bosses, so you ether go through the game at a linear pase or by the time you reach that point in the Mars Lighthouse, well and getting the Mars star, you can retreat and start working on your missing Djinn and getting the remaining summoning tablets
I actually liked how long the dungeons were in The Lost Age. It really made you feel like you were putting your all into delving ancient ruins that weren't really meant for "exploring", but had been twisted into that purpose by situational necessity. Not to say all were successes, but TLA had some of my favorite dungeons to explore as a kid. Jupiter and Mars lighthouse can take hours if you want to explore every nook and cranny (not that they have to), and the elemental Rocks have sprawling layouts that necessitate exploration. Aries Rock is one of my favorite dungeon concepts/ layouts to this day. You start at what feels like miles away from the rock, forced to navigate the labrynthine landscape just to find a path forward. Even once you /get/ to the rock, the game doesn't give you a pass and just let you in. True to its name, you have to enter from the top, so you're forced to climb up a perilous cliff face. Then you have to delve DOWN into the convoluted hallways INSIDE the rock, taking mental notes of corridors you've been while opening up paths. Then, after finally accomplishing your mission... you get to do it all in reverse. True, the paths back are much easier since there are short-cuts to take and you know the general path by that point, but... There's no easy opt-out option prompt. The game doesn't pat you on the back and say "Good job, champ! You deserve a way out!" It expects you to stay as committed as your characters and hoof it out. I liked the immersion of having to "be along for the ride" as much as the characters in-universe had to be. Or I guess you could just cast Retreat, but I admit I didn't think of that as a kid. And I personally wouldn't have wanted to anyways, even if I understand why most people probably would.
Oh shit, I'm currently editing my Lost Age video and figured since it's all finalized I'd look around at the general opinions of the game. Quite surprised to see a lot of the same criticisms. It's like I said on your Golden Sun video, great minds, my dude.
Sheba is from the missing city of Anemos which to avoid the sealing of alchemy raised their city and turned it into the moon. The crater next to Contigo is where Anemos stood. Sheba history was stated to be a child that fell from the sky.
Once you get teleport you can use it on the world map to return to any town you have already been too. I'm one of the fans of this series that likes The Lost Age over the first game because its larger and you play as Felix who is my all time favorite character in the series (we need to see his son or daughter if they do a 4th game) and also there is so many more amazing music tracks in this game.
I remember the final boss taking a bunch of tries, but I didn't have to grind or buy special items.. made finally doing it (+ that story ending) so satisfying..
it's just so awesome to see someone love this game as much as I do, when I was younger it felt like I was the only one who played Golden Sun, you've made an amazing work dude.
Even though the world might be too big and have backtracking problems, I liked the more exotic villages and locations in "The Lost Age." And the soundtrack makes me wanna cry like a baby ("Ruins of Lemuria," "A Full Moon in Garoh" - forget about it!). Definitely subscribed, you obviously put a lot of effort into these.
Actually, there IS a fast-travel...However, you only get it in the Last dungeon, which makes it kinda irrelevant to the backtracking unless you want to smith some stuff. Yes, Teleport can be used to Fast-Travel when used on the Overworld. I didn't know that until, like, NINE YEARS after i played it!
I beat the final boss without that much problem. Yes the first fight he destroyed me, but I found out the if you buff or debuff he will use one turn to negate it, meaning one less turn to use his special attack and giving you a better chance to defeat him
Somewhat bad puns + golden sun + amazing reactions = one of my favorite youtubers. That is you now. btw I love the puns they make me laugh and annoy my pals
The way this game and Dragon Quest 4 handle your extended party are the only ways I consider valid other than engineering the story such that there only _are_ enough heroes to fill one active party (Dragon Quest 2, Golden Sun 1, etc.) _or_ plot contrivance such that everyone has a reason to rotate out and in when they do (Final Fantasy 2). We seriously need this.
Honestly would've appreciated a more sense of urgency in TLA, not too much where it forces you to progress in the story but just enough to give you incentive to pursue the main storyline. (probably would've given Alex and the two villains more screen time) Also I feel like they missed an opportunity to make Isaac's party somewhat of an antithesis to Felix's where they constantly try and hurdle your progress by being the reason behind some of the games road blocks. That would've helped in showing the struggle between the two groups ultimately making their teamup much more satisfying.
16:14 Doom Dragon: Oh? What's that? You're gonna summon something? Well TOUGH SHIT! There go all your Djinn! 16:20 Doom Dragon: Oh what's that? You're gonna heal cuz I spammed Cruel Ruin twice in a row? WELL DJINN STORM BITCH!! 😂💀
Wait you mean you played this game whatever amount of times and never used Teleport to move around? Jeez I understand how you must have felt by moving around only with the flying ship.. terrible experience at end game when you want to go to different places to farm materials for weapons and armors or just grind for rare weapons on some enemies. And of course to kill phoenix at that island for experience. Did I mention how much I love this game? To be honest, and not to be a dick but it kinda makes your whole issue with the game.. a non issue. You don´t really need to be moving around that much until end game and meanwhile, the ship is way more than enough. This game is, to me, much better than Golden Sun 1, and I do love both, but you cannot deny having 8 characters, a hundred locations, weapons, an awesome story (and plot-twist), graphics (some places look gorgeous while the first had VERY generic towns) it´s just great. It´s perfect and makes the first look small and insignificant story wise.
And don´t forget; Super Bosses (more difficult than the actually ones in rpg videogames xD), one of the most Op Optional boss in videogame history (Dullahan), two of the best summons in videogame (Catastrophe, Iris) a nice final boss battle.. and a nice ending.
Really appreciate your content and your take on the games. I've been a fan since I was a kid watching my sister play. It's nice to see someone who shares that enthusiasm about such an amazing game. Keep up the good work.
So I used to consider Saturos and Menardi the heroes for awhile. But going through the game again and seeing the soldiers that they intentionally killed and left to die on their way through Babi Lighthouse and Venus Lighthouse kind of changed my mind. If it were Alex who had killed those soldiers and injured the scholars and builders that would be something, but I think that leaving so many to die a painful, searing, helpless death on the side of a road took them from "assholes who are really trying doing the right thing" to "villains who just happen to be doing something helpful." Just imagine being a trained soldier and Colosso victor who's job is to protect the people working on a construction job and keep travelers safe. You hear a commotion as a man and a woman armed with a devious red blade and a honed sickle walk up to you. Looking closer you see a group of five behind them, some distraught and one of them smiling. Both their weapons and armor are speckled with blood, and to your confusion the woman outstretches her right arm. The woman's outline flashes red and her eyes begin to go, the ground beneath you shifts like sand, and molten lava sprays up once, twice, then three times directly beneath your groin, face, and back, melting through your chain mail and leaving your body a bloody and burned mess. You realize that the pain in your eyes isn't just pain, all you can see are shadows and blurs as you fall backwards. The group passes by your breathing corpse and you hear one woman's voice emotionally mutter "I'm so sorry". As minutes and hours pass by you think about your beautiful wife and two kids who love playing tag and running around the Tolbi fountain. And after even more hours the searing, burning, pulses of pain start to just feel like regular pulses, the pain is becoming number and strangely cold, and all you're aware of is how weak and quiet your heartbeat sounds. The smell of your burnt hair and flesh and molten earth and weeds are the last things you'll ever smell. You hear the soft thumping of footsteps and tears roll down your cheek as you breathe your last words. "Venus Lighthouse was... attacked by strange... wanderers..." Saturos and Menardi were evil.
Love your videos in golden sun. It was my favourite game growing up, love it how you can now play them on a pc using gameboy simulator. Keep up the videos man, your doing great! ;)
I am so glad that I'm not the only one who calls her Sheh-buh. I've adopted to calling her Shee-buh now just because that's the more accepted pronunciation but I called her Sheh-buh through my entire childhood let me have this
yes, not always, but in this instance yes, Golden Sun the lost age is the best game in my opinion, the amount of emotional moments and throwbacks to the first game is AMAAZING.
Actualy the battle music changes if Isaac or Felix is in the front group and if none of those two are in the fight it is Jenna's battle theme that quick's in.
You missed a few things that I can point out to you 1. The world isn't slated to immediately end upon Alchemy's re-introduction. The problem is the abuse of Alchemy and its power that could ruin and destroy the world. 2. Sheba's story DOES in fact come to a head. She says it's her 'destiny' but you missed that she wanted to find out who she is (literally). Because she doesn't know her parents, she was orphaned as a child and was adopted by the ruler of Lalavario. She explains that she wanted to go to Jupiter lighthouse in hopes of finding clues as to who she is, because no one knows where she came from.
I know the teleportation spell is extreme late game (Mars Tower), but once you get the wings on the boat I actually thought it was fun back tracking just because of how fast and convinient it was. Hell you could even use the wings to fly on top of land through beaches, etc.
At 5:32 It seems like Camelot has a thing for making wonderful rpgs in three games/scenarios where save data/info can be transferred from one to another.
Big correction to make here. This game does have a fast travel feature, the teleport psynergy. However, you get it late in the game (it's found in the final dungeon, not counting optional endgame dungeons) so it won't help you if you need to do any backtracking during, say, the portion of the game where you're collecting pieces of the trident. But it is, of course, very handy at the endgame and post-game.
Just as some clarity, Sheba fell from the sky as a baby, and the massive crater next to Contigo was from a Jupiter Psynergy mega city that became so advanced they just took their city to the sky...... So if you put two and two together......
Very great review- all of your Golden Sun Reviews are great. I love the games to death. They were also my first J-RPGs (besides Pokemon). I was lucky to play the games when they were released 2002 and 2003 in Germany. This Games were the Game-Changer for me. I never saw this kind of game before (never played a FF-Game before). I remember the pure Magic of this Games. The Music is insanely good- I still want a proper CD-Release for the first two Scores (or an orchestral/rock Arrangement Album). The Graphics are beautiful and stunning. I love the characters - even though they are not that complex. I love the story, wich is also not that complex (but as a simple minded teenager I was blown away). The Gameplay is superb- never ever had so much fun with any other J-RPG again (except for Pokemon). I also remember when I played the first Game for the first time how I was surprised when leaving Vale for the first time. I was a complete World-Map-Virgin. Seeing such a huge World to explore was to much for me to handle. Never had that kind of experience again with a game. Miss them so much. I hate it that Nintendo and Camelot don't care for this series anymore... There must be a Golden Sun 4!!!
When le me got the ccharacters of the first game. Me: Maybe if I place the characters of the first game in the party, Isaac's theme would sound... I think not, but I will try anyway. Le me put the characters in the party, walk a little around the town and... wild enemy apears... Isaac's theme sounds... Hearth attack. Best detail in videogames IMO
You CAN teleport in the game, but you can only obtain in Mars Lighthouse, the final dungeon in the game. Handy if you want to forge a lot of materials for very powerful weapons for the Doom Dragon though.
My main issue is the exploration required to progress naturally (without reading a guide) doesn't mesh with the narrative of urgently needing to fire up the lighthouses. It's great fun, but for as simple as Golden Sun's story and characters are, they were both really well-done and there were times where I felt like I just wanted to get on with the narrative. All that said, TLA is still one of the most impressive JRPGs ever made despite being made for a handheld system. The complaints I have with it will never be enough to bring the experience down as a whole.
I don’t know why, but I actually played this game before the first Golden Sun. I think that’s why I have more of an affinity towards it. I still love both of them though, so much.
The only time I decided to grind was when I went to the turtle island (or whatever it's called) where you fight Sentinel, but it wasn't because I needed to. I just wanted to see how much exp you could get in a single fight by fighting against the bird enemies who kept reviving their allies.
I know i'm a year late to the party but... you do know there is a fast travel in the game right? i mean it is something you can only get really close to the end of the game so it might not be all THAT useful, but it does exist, and it will make getting to the bonus bosses easy. Also dullahan is the hardest boss in the game? pretty sure that title belongs to the star magician. i'm not sure dullahan is even in the top 3...
Star Magician is not hard at all. The key is to focus on it's 'Ball Monsters' that protect it. They hardly put up any resistance. It also has a pretty crippling weakness to fire...
The Star Magician isn´t actually hard, just focus on the Healing and the Protectives ball.. but Dullahan... man, he can kill all your party member no matter how much life you have, and even if you block his Psynergy (my strategy :v) he does a lot of damage. He drains your life, recover 200 HP per turn, and if you not block his psynergy, he destroys you with the Break DJINN, and crush you :v.
I think I hated Air's Rock the most out of all the dungeons. That shit took like 6+ hours as a kid. I think I'd be faster now but it's still a massive dungeon.
Sum of the boss battles in the golden sun series just destroyed my cheeks. I couldn’t even figure it out at first I was such a dumb kid and I never remembered djinn combos so I had to just wing it l I would go for cool sounding classes
Im sad and ashamed to say that i played this game with a guide... i mean come on! the ocean part was so overwhelming! of course i understand that the gig was exploration
I can't believe your subscriber count isn't higher, you put so much effort into your videos. however the title "why I love the gamecube" holds much less water when your not playing a gamecube game. even if it is being played on a gameboy player haha. but yeah I can tell you put a lot of work into these videos and they turn out great too!
I don't just love the Game Cube for the exclusives on the system, but for how many games you can play on it. You can play every Zelda game up to Twilight Princess, all the classic Sonic games, and of course GBA games. The one rule that I have with this show is that if I can play it on the Game Cube, though any means, it's worthy of an episode because it's just another reason why I love this console so much.
+The Ryan Sucks At Video Games fair enough man, I see what you mean. the gamecube already had such a good library and the fact that the gameboy player was a thing just expanded that library. also I appreciate you singling out the Zelda games as an example probably just cause of my name xD. but yeah I see where you're coming from. I used to play golden sun on my gameboy player all the time as long as I was at home. I loved that you could take your mobile games and throw them up onto a bigger screen while you were at home without wasting gba battery haha
The Isaac speaking and Alex being silent was one of the only things that pissed me off about this game, they should have kept it like how it was in the first game.
Fast travel... Hey, you know that you can use TELEPORT psi outside battle and outside ground circles to actually go back to any city you previously 've been?
My problem with both games is that djinn and summon spam plus having Nadia or Mia spamming group heals breaks the combat in 98% of the fights. Unless you get hit by Djinn Storm you're golden.
TLA fulfills the rest of the vision camelot had when they made the original, its like the first game gone super saiyan, on steroids, or with all the djinn.
I decided to give this a second watch and I've found another mistake and it's what you said about Sheba. They actually do go into detail to why she came along, she tells you after you get the flying airship. I would go into it but I don't want to spoil it for people that have not played the game.
That is true. What I meant (but did a bad job explaining, admittedly) is that her story is still unresolved, even by the end of TLA. There's still a mystery that needs to be solved with her, questions that weren't answered.
two hours? how's that possible? Dullahan always feels like a 2-minute fight where either you or he are dead at the end of it. i would honestly watch that because i'm just so curious.
You clearly haven't fought him at a casual level before. He was one of the few bosses that had me stuck for hours because of his gimmick of using the Pynergy Orbs as enemies and spells. I specifically hate the Heal Orb, Barrior Orb, and Blast Orb for basically wiping my party out just as I was about to send a summon to inflict massive damage.
I think the original game is a tighter experience for sure. There was so much in tsa I go back to and dread. I hate Air, Aqua, Magnum and Gaia Rock so much. I remember getting stuck for ages at forging the trident because guides weren't really a thing unless you bought them in 2004 like they are now.. and I had completely forgotten about Briggs ship. I stumbled on it one day and was like wtf really

It's a good thing you posted this comment because I was about to be added to the list of people correcting you on the "no fast-travel" thing.
yea I tried using the teleport psynergy. It DID NOT work on the world map. only on Teleport pads so. kinda pointless
The non-linearity is one of the big things that sets this game apart from the first, for me.

Yes, Teleport can be used to Fast-Travel when used on the Overworld. I didn't know that until, like, NINE YEARS after i played it!
thank you!
OH MY GOD I JUST KNOW THIS
i used it immediately in the overworld. i even tried it outside of the teleportation circles because i thought it would be like alex's teleportation.
its amazing how all of this stuff in the game is pushed in only 32 mega bytes. truly amazing and gold niveau of developers worksmiths
Actually, Golden Sun 2 is 16MB
I beat the final boss without that much problem. Yes the first fight he destroyed me, but I found out the if you buff or debuff he will use one turn to negate it, meaning one less turn to use his special attack and giving you a better chance to defeat him
Somewhat bad puns + golden sun + amazing reactions = one of my favorite youtubers. That is you now. btw I love the puns they make me laugh and annoy my pals
They made Dullahan so overpowered that even with 8 characters at level 50 and with the best weapons he's still a challenge.
(probably would've given Alex and the two villains more screen time)
Also I feel like they missed an opportunity to make Isaac's party somewhat of an antithesis to Felix's where they constantly try and hurdle your progress by being the reason behind some of the games road blocks. That would've helped in showing the struggle between the two groups ultimately making their teamup much more satisfying.
The Lost Age is a masterpiece that managed to improve upon it's predecessor in every way.
i love the passing of the torch of silent protagonist. ty for vid
hope u sleeping better dude
16:14
Doom Dragon: Oh? What's that? You're gonna summon something? Well TOUGH SHIT! There go all your Djinn!
16:20
Doom Dragon: Oh what's that?
@@theultimatedragoon2231 what. how is dullahan or anything in this game hard?
Really appreciate your content and your take on the games. I've been a fan since I was a kid watching my sister play. It's nice to see someone who shares that enthusiasm about such an amazing game. Keep up the good work.
If you have Jenna in your party without Isaac or Felix, Jenna's battle theme plays!
So I used to consider Saturos and Menardi the heroes for awhile. But going through the game again and seeing the soldiers that they intentionally killed and left to die on their way through Babi Lighthouse and Venus Lighthouse kind of changed my mind. If it were Alex who had killed those soldiers and injured the scholars and builders that would be something, but I think that leaving so many to die a painful, searing, helpless death on the side of a road took them from "assholes who are really trying doing the right thing" to "villains who just happen to be doing something helpful."
Just imagine being a trained soldier and Colosso victor who's job is to protect the people working on a construction job and keep travelers safe.
"Venus Lighthouse was... attacked by strange... wanderers..."
Saturos and Menardi were evil.
Love your videos in golden sun. It was my favourite game growing up, love it how you can now play them on a pc using gameboy simulator. Keep up the videos man, your doing great! ;)
So, basically it's a better and more fleshed out game?
Charles Neptune precisely
I actually love the Doom Dragon. It's an incredibly difficult fight but I never felt more satisfied then when I actually beat it.
I am so glad that I'm not the only one who calls her Sheh-buh. I've adopted to calling her Shee-buh now just because that's the more accepted pronunciation but I called her Sheh-buh through my entire childhood let me have this
I played the Lost Age, and the game is SOOO BIG, I couldn't figure out where to go to progress the story.
Don’t forget about the Doom Dragon’s guard shield. When you’re about to use all lvl 4 summons, but for 30 dmg a pop lol.
yes, not always, but in this instance yes, Golden Sun the lost age is the best game in my opinion, the amount of emotional moments and throwbacks to the first game is AMAAZING.
Actualy the battle music changes if Isaac or Felix is in the front group and if none of those two are in the fight it is Jenna's battle theme that quick's in.
You missed a few things that I can point out to you
You dp get the warp spell, but not until you've reached the Mars Lighthouse near the end.
17:30 - 20:10
sorry i couldn´t hear you, there was the best ost ever playing!
At 5:32
It seems like Camelot has a thing for making wonderful rpgs in three games/scenarios where save data/info can be transferred from one to another.
Sheva was pretty fleshed out if I'm not mistaken. She's looking for her parents and you find them using the flying ship.
The silent protagnoist thing is from Shining Force 3. The idea is that YOU are the character so you don't hear what they say.
Just as some clarity, Sheba fell from the sky as a baby, and the massive crater next to Contigo was from a Jupiter Psynergy mega city that became so advanced they just took their city to the sky...... So if you put two and two together......
To anyone who had a taste (and time) of dullahan, they will know how much easier Doom Dragon is
Very great review- all of your Golden Sun Reviews are great.
There's the psynergy Teleport which allows fast travel
My main issue is the exploration required to progress naturally (without reading a guide) doesn't mesh with the narrative of urgently needing to fire up the lighthouses. It's great fun, but for as simple as Golden Sun's story and characters are, they were both really well-done and there were times where I felt like I just wanted to get on with the narrative. All that said, TLA is still one of the most impressive JRPGs ever made despite being made for a handheld system. The complaints I have with it will never be enough to bring the experience down as a whole.
Thank you for this
I don’t know why, but I actually played this game before the first Golden Sun.
Also dullahan is the hardest boss in the game? pretty sure that title belongs to the star magician. i'm not sure dullahan is even in the top 3...
xXzman9000Xx i agree the magician keeps getting his health back
Star Magician is not hard at all.
Well.. i actually beated him without summons..
It took me two hours to beat Dullahan as well but only like twenty to beat the magician at a lower level too. Dullahan is a fucking beast
Dude i got every one to lever 99 and the final boss was a piece of cake.
To hear Isaac's theme in battle, you just need to not have Felix. Jenna also has her own theme if you put away both earth users.
Hahahaha. "DJINN STORM BITCH!"
I'm dead.
I think I hated Air's Rock the most out of all the dungeons. That shit took like 6+ hours as a kid. I think I'd be faster now but it's still a massive dungeon.
Alex wanted the Golden Sun.
Hey, you want to summon something? Let me use my
*DJINN STORM*
That Pteranodon did not deserve that.
if i play an rpg nowadays i AT LEAST hope it keeps me busy for 100+hours..
i LOVE golden sun, my only complain is that it is not long enough..
Sum of the boss battles in the golden sun series just destroyed my cheeks. I couldn’t even figure it out at first I was such a dumb kid and I never remembered djinn combos so I had to just wing it l I would go for cool sounding classes
And I see why I never got to the doom dragon LOL superrrr busted the final boss spike in both games were dramatic
+zeldafreak247 also the sonic games*
So Dark Dawn is probably gonna not be a Why I Love the Gamecube video?
Nope
Great review. The lost age is my all time favorite game
The Isaac speaking and Alex being silent was one of the only things that pissed me off about this game, they should have kept it like how it was in the first game.
Fast travel... Hey, you know that you can use TELEPORT psi outside battle and outside ground circles to actually go back to any city you previously 've been?
that last djinn storm got me hella fucking weak
My problem with both games is that djinn and summon spam plus having Nadia or Mia spamming group heals breaks the combat in 98% of the fights. Unless you get hit by Djinn Storm you're golden.
You're a real one if you've ever beat Dullahan
I'm sure i've told you this personally but seeing you use my outro makes me extremely happy
TLA fulfills the rest of the vision camelot had when they made the original, its like the first game gone super saiyan, on steroids, or with all the djinn.
Ok, finished the video, not sure how anyone can say TLA is not superior...
1:13 Did somebody say....MORE SIDE QUESTS?! :D
btw, have fun in Washington
Just reading the title of this video, and will say that The Lost Age is superior to the first game in basically every regard.
In this case, yes, it's better.
There actually is a way to fast travel/teleport. You can use the spell teleport to literally teleport
The second Game is actually my favorite I loved everything about it
I thought that the wise one "saved" felix and jenners parents and Isaacs dad
5:14 i call "sheba" cosma because in german game she's called Cosma what i think is a much better name than in all other language versions hihihi.
Back when golden sun ds was announced at E3, I was hoping it would be titled “Golden Sun The Found Age”.
two hours?
how's that possible? Dullahan always feels like a 2-minute fight where either you or he are dead at the end of it. i would honestly watch that because i'm just so curious.
You clearly haven't fought him at a casual level before.
He was one of the few bosses that had me stuck for hours because of his gimmick of using the Pynergy Orbs as enemies and spells.
I specifically hate the Heal Orb, Barrior Orb, and Blast Orb for basically wiping my party out just as I was about to send a summon to inflict massive damage.
I'm a gamecube lover too! and a Golden sun fan!
I don't see any problem with the game not having any fast travel... It makes it better IMO
I would like to say there is a fast travel option with teleport.
I love the song for Venus Lighthouse. I know this one fire emblem hack that uses that song and It's the best thing about that hack.
What's the name of the hack?
The Last Promise
Here you go: ua-cam.com/video/ZrUraMKKtlU/v-deo.html
Nostalgic.
Ok, you said no fast travel? Use teleport from the mars lighthouse in the overworld
I beat the Doom Dragon on my first try... 😂
Same
I think the original game is a tighter experience for sure.
