We destroyed a scammer call center while pretending to be a crazy grandpa!
I destroyed their computer, deleted all their files and took their phone system down.
We also potentially saved hundreds of victims.

I always get such a kick out of Malcolm's acting prowess. As a former victim of a scammer (likely an antisocial teenager in his mother's Colorado basement) I really appreciate any and all the work done by the people who unveil and destroy these horrible call centres.

I got scammed by this exact thing in 2004, it killed my computer and i only stopped when i heard someone in the background saying "Get his card number, get the number", i then realised it was a scam but my laptop was frozen and ruined by them, as at that time i had done all they said and they were moving stuff around. I disconnected and uninstalled anydesk, but it was never the same again. The fact that you destroyed them makes me very happy. Have a great Christmas.
Hit them exactly where it hurts when you guys take down the numbers and that is such a big win I couldn't be more happy.

Too bad you can't trick a scammer into actually calling Microsoft support and have Microsoft play along, that would be awesome. Still amazes me that these big tech companies turn a blind eye to this and have no concern about scammers using them.

That call flooder should be made available to all the scambaiters on YT. How long would the call industry last if every bait call was completed with the flooder. Eventually there would be some kind of countermeasure but no-one would make any money until it was found...

Press ctrl alt delete at same time. Go in your task manager and shut down your internet browser. You can then use pc again.

I have been running a GNU Linux distribution on my computer for many years. I don't get pop ups. I used to on windows 7 back in the day.
If, i were younger than my 71 yrs of age, i`d have loved to do the work you do and hopefully as you`re 1 year younger than me Malcolm, i`d hate to think i sound like you do on this call...😂 Thankfully my wee blue pills keep me going too. 😂
