Drove from Chicago to Atlanta and back in my 392XR. About 750 miles each way with wife and kids in back. It was fine. My wife commented that it was louder than our previous Grand Cherokee but it wasn't unbearable. Averaged about 16 mpg. Other than flooring it on the on ramps, with the 392 I find myself more apt to slow down though and just cruise a little slower though... I don't feel as rushed as with a regular car on a road trip.

As someone who drives an elantra that averages 40mpg, 16 sends shivers down my spine, but man... I really want a jeep

TY. This was great. I may wait for a Bronco. Never ridden a Jeep but drove it for few minutes to test. Will try it though

2022 is just fine I am sure! great review. My lifted 3" lift with 33's , 2011 JKU ( with the awful ICE ) was fine on a recent 1000+mile trip to the smoky mountains . 80MPH about 15-16MPG. Not as comfortable as it should be, but when off-road is was great as usual !

The stoplights suck in Denver. If you get stuck at one you could wait 5 minutes until it turns green again. This does not excuse flooring it through red lights. But that’s probably why people do it. You have to wait a second or two then go and hope no one is flooring it through the red light.

The wife, respectfully, is probably your dream soulmate off camera but . . . have her help you off camera. That is THE nicest way it can be said. The second nicest way is to tell you to window shop a good family law attorney out - delete this post after you read it and before she gets up from one of those naps of hers we all got to hear about. Peace and love my brother, sad to hear Denver is worse than SLC I've been both places

I have a 2018 Wrangler jk and feel like the seats are extremely comfortable and padded but I feel for you in that windshield. Whenever I drive it on the freeway it just feels like a flat wall for rocks to hit and not bounce off 😖

Just did 3400 miles in a Rubi XR 2.0 T. NP👍👍😎🇺🇸 Avg 20.5 mpg. Always uphill or into the wind. We did 800 & 600 mile days. Wife approved. Did you get Gorilla glass? I did.

The drivers in Atlanta are god awful, the other day I saw people drive on the shoulder and median to get around traffic 🙄🙄. I've never taken a Wrangler on a roadtrip but I have taken a gladiator, I'd imagine they're pretty similar!
Love your videos my man, keep up the great work. :)

You definitely haven’t driven a 392…fox 2.5 DSC shocks, ATS 2.0 stabilizer and Teraflex delta brakes (tire error on 37) will easily hit 125 mph and still stays super planted!!

Oh Ben. Sweet innocent Ben. Never travel to NY/CT/MA/RI. The drivers are all terrible and dangerous in their own ways, all mingling together in each other's highways. And there's about 6 times as many on the road as in Denver.
And that's BEFORE the usual distracted drivers/ "I'm going FAST ENOUGH for the left lane" folks/BMW driver's who couldn't afford the blinker option.

Hey there, was wondering how is your a/c on the wrangler rubicon 392?? I own a 2022 xtreme recon package 392 with the 1 touch sky roof. Idk? If maybe poor insulation with the roof or just the way it is? But my a/c blows cold, nevertheless when accelerating or idling or coming to a stop with RPMs dropping the AC tends to not blow as cold. It’s a challenge to cool the entire Jeep. Unless it’s blowing in ur face. Was wondering how urs is working? I live in Phoenix Arizona by the way. Thanks 😊

I recommend adding dyno matt to the interior floor boards and you doors. I have them on my JKU and it’s as quiet as any Tahoe or 4Runner if not quieter.
I have 35 inch mud terrains as well
