I kept getting interviews but no offers. I watched a ton of your videos yesterday. I had an interview today and 20 minutes after the interview, I was offered the job! Thank you!

What about "all the other people we have to interview".

@@dhenderson1810 they really did get back to me that quickly. I have never had that happen before. It was a virtual interview and by the time, I had shut down my computer and did a few things, they called. The job is going well. I learned after working here for awhile, they hire based a lot on personality. It’s a tight knit group and they want people that will be a good fit.

", Yes my Lord and Saviour. I am not worthy".
"You are so wise and successful. I hope a lowly servant like myself can be like you one day. You are my inspiration.."
    Will that do?

Thank you for this! I just finished a interview I really REALLY want and need, and I was scared that all my likes and ums killed the interview… I get REALLY nervous in interviews and my Brain can’t think as fast as I can talk. I do my best to stop and take a breath but I put a LOT of pressure on myself and I get back to being nervous . So I took WAY too many posses.
But this helped reassure me that I did everything I could and I did everything right! All these points I did at some point. (For the past week I studied, memorized and practiced interviewed with my family, I would have gone longer but I only had a week from when I had the interview offer)
I got really worried because I left thinking that they went all too interested. But after watching a few of these videos I think I’m just being too harsh on myself. Because they did do things that u said was a good sign in other videos and I genuinely do want this job. I relly feel passionate about it!
It would open so many doors for me just in my life… I’d be financially stable for the first time ever and it would feel so amazing to just buy food again! I’m just so excited for this job and tiered of being disappointed… I’ve had opportunities like this before where I do just as much if not more and the interview went even better. But still got ghosted or told no. I just hope I get it this time!

Ben, "team player" is how I always describe myself. That ties into my sports fandom. When it comes to being willing and able to mentor newer people, that's largely like when a veteran quarterback in the NFL, serves as a mentor and tutor to a young, promising, up-and-coming quarterback. I was born in 1973, so I'm old, but back in the day when the NBA had true legitimate centers, veteran centers who could mentor rookie and young centers, was very valuable.

It shouldn't be a competition. To be their "team player"... That is sick. The fake I love doing mundane things = a job.I prepared for this... What a crock of 💩

When I hired people I could see right through the fake manipulatiors. If it's too good to be true you know it is. Also you say they want to hear.. Alot. Manipulators know that & get the job over people that don't lie & over do it in the interview & those are the actual good employees. They don't want to be top performers... Why??? So they can get burned out. You're creating toxic burned out employees.. You're an idiot ...

Had an interview yesterday with a hiring manager and a service manager, the employer was telling me about the on boarding process, letting me know the route that I would be given and the training I would be getting, if I’m ok with the onboarding taking awhile, is she hinting that I got the job? I ask because at the the end of the interview, she did let me know that she is going to run it through her bosses, and that she will get back to me within a week.

    • @JJ_TheGreat

Did you get the job? Just curious!

  • @JamesHanyuSmith
    @JamesHanyuSmith Рік тому +1

I had a thought, while listening to this, about the idea of mentioning that "I'm a top performer..." and I wanted to run by you, and see what you think. And I'm going to be very blunt as I share this, and perhaps you can help me make it more aesthetically pleasing to the recruiter.
I worked the "Back Half Night" shift as a Mechatronics Technician for a number of years. (Back Half Nights means that I worked (4) 10 hour shifts, Wed-Sat nights from 9pm to 7:30am.) Of the (4) shifts at Amazon, my shift, while shorter in number of crew members (of only 4 techs while every other shift was running >6 people), was still consistently hitting the highest marks of factory efficiency, quick equipment repairs, less downtime, and 50% higher output volume than any other shift - WHICH HAS BEEN key to our building fulfilling 58% more orders than the average Amazon Fulfillment Center.
    --------
I don't know if that made sense. I'd be happy to clarify, wherever needed. But is there a better way to phrase this? I would LIKE to include something about avoiding the political drama of the day shifts where all the building managers and support is available, and just getting to work when all of them are away - but that may come across in bad form. I get that.
