Wow, I have always called my artwork my children! Creating a picture or logo is "raising" it. You pour everything into it, then it stands, and sometimes creates a life of its own!
By the way, during Katrina, some news outlets said after helicopter flyovers "look, there are hundreds of buses just setting there, why not use them to evacuate people!?" As a former bus driver, I was offended by those comments. They suggested bus drivers just steal buses, collect THEIR family & friends, leaving THOUSANDS who don't know bus drivers, and take your bus load where?, when armed police were not allowing some to leave the flood zone. Much RESPECT to New Orleans bus drivers for having to endure that crap! We love you in Cincinnati, New Orleans! As a music lover, I love how New Orleans takes care of Musicians.
I drove buses for years. A committed professional driver must be addiction free, not have undiagnosed sleep apnea, allowed down time to sleep, no texting while driving and no distracting phone calls, have no known illnesses that make driving a risk. Be careful. That would be a great road trip, especially if you all are able to check in with the music artists in New Orleans and see how are they post Katrina. If any still in need perhaps we can help.
