This has shown over and over again that Nigeria has the brilliant minds to solve Nigeria's problems. Why don't President Tinubu do like most efficient organizations or Countries do by mounting a world wide and domestic recruitment campaign to bring in these brilliant Nigerian technocrats to help solve Nigeria economic problems. Instead of recruiting partisan loyalist to such important economic positions. As Nigerian former president Buhari once said that he only employ loyalist and people he knew and trust for appointments. President Obasanjo was the only president in Nigeria that made great efforts to recruit Nigerians all over the world in important governmental positions. Efficiency and progress in any endeavor can not be achieved by nepotism or employing your Freinds to do jobs that are above their capacity.

Depending on tribal sentiment to make your point truly reflects a lack of intellectual depth. Avoid doing that and instead present a reasonable argument. As evident, Kelvin didn't rely on tribal sentiment in his stance. Only people like you seem to support or applaud such points. Why not strive to make meaningful contributions rather than leaning on tribal biases?

@@ibukunwilliams1 no matter how correct you want to sound, truth remains that NNPCL is a Fulani village. It never works well. Their only job there is embezzlement and fraud. They have invaded NNPCL and just like when they invaded villages in parts of Nigeria, they only leave a trail of destruction. Nothing works in such a place and it is soon turned to ashes.

And to be honest, they have looted enough. They should let Nigerian breathe.

So, you don't know that, once a government that, doesn't mean well hire an expert, it's to shut him/her up or to do their bidding. If this government hire this guy now, you will be shocked at his end products. Did you listen to him very well? He mentioned forensic audit(probe), a way of saying there is corruption. But, this government is the only administration that I know that, have never mentioned: "corruption" or "probe" because it lacks the capacity, talk more of moving into action. I weep always, looking at how powerless this government is regarding corruption, yet it shows excess power for non- corruption related matters. Now, I know that, SIN can make a man so powerless. It can't fight it because, the head was accused of it on multiple fronts, in form of drug case in US, Certificate forgery, control of Lagos revenue, rigging of 2023 presidential election, thuggery, silencing of opposition, e.t.c

    The Refineries are not dead.
A process plant does not die.
    It is a fallacy.
Sanazarro Refinery in Italy has been running since the 1920s aha has survived two world wars.
The practise is to change out equipment when due. You cannot sit and write off a billion dollar facility.
If the Refinery is dead, why are investors angling to buy them up?

No government has dared to audit the NNPC because everyone is complicit in its corruption. During Buhari's 8 years, billions of dollars were spent on maintaining the same refineries, yet not a single liter of PMS was produced. Now Tinubu is following the same path. How are Nigerians not seeing what I’m seeing?
