He actually turned his foot when he was doing the roundhouses, for a split second his foot went 160°to the other side, look closely.Plus he obviosly wasn't focusing on power, he was focusing on speed as well, this dude can kick even harder if he wanted to.
rainfallsnk he is 6 time Itf world champ,20 time european cham,21 time polish champion n he also anttended 8 seminar with the late General Choi Hong Hi
Kwon Jae hwa dent turn his standing foot more than 90 degrees and he kicks quite a lethal dolly chagi, I mean head hight and destroying 12 hole bricks without any support. However, Proper technique says you should turn your standing kick properly. I would go with anything that suits anyone better as long as its efficient. And GM Rhree would agree with me...:))
For beginners?? Yeah right. Not turning your planted foot would be called a bando-chaki. For a roundhouse you turn your planted foot all the way around, this is to get more power and force into the kick...beginners learn how to turn their foot all the way around, well, at least they should.
no one can do it without turning the foot. if you don't pivot, you can't put your hips into any of the kicks and you'll blow your knee out on top of that.
If you miss you're in a perfect sidestance and that opens you up to a shit ton of follow ups, a lot of dollyos are missed on purpose just so you can end up in that stance etc.I'm no expert but that's how I see it, and dude just try kicking without rotating your foot it's not possible, all you can do is a snap kick, in fact you can't do any kick properly without rotating your foot, not only dollyo.
If you do not turn your foot you can't get any power of a roundhouse, it won't even be a snap kick, you are effectively limiting power, speed by limiting the range of motion and you are making your other leg prevent your hips from getting into the kick, leaning back etc. it's not a roundhouse/dollyo chagi that way at all.For a proper roundhouse you have to turn your foot at least 150°. Sorry but you don't know anything about kicking. :)
It's bad when a black belt doesn't even turn their planted foot all the way around when doing roundhouse kicks. I'm not a black belt and even I know that
What if you missed your target? your standing foot is twisted backwards. recovering is too slow. i'm more familiar with dollyo chagi. i did wtf taekwondo for ten years
He had hip surgery on his other leg about this time. Superfoot Bill Wallace usually only kicked with his left leg because he destroyed his right knee doing judo. Would you consider him not to be a martial artist? If you watch Master Suska's older videos it clearing shows him using both legs.
I'm a 2nd degree Black Belt and I wouldn't challenge him. He has a lot of power in his kicks. Im impressed.
There is a white belt in my class has a round kick like a tiger
He is one of the best kickers on the world.
Love the sounds in slow motion!!

It's not a push kick. Pushing kicks are meant to push people away.
Front snap kicks are meant to break things.
True that, front snap kicks are nasty make less of a thud but are more penetrating.
He got surgery on the other leg/hip around that time I believe. Just look at his patterns, he can do amazing kicks from both legs
Well,he is a 5 time world and around 20 time european champion.

That's what I thought when I read that guys comment, the power difference is huge and kinder to the standing leg too.

dlaczego cykor?
Best jump spinning hook kick I've seen...
look again... its a jump back rev turn. the only rev hook is when the yellow belt had his 2 fingers out
Very, very good!!! TKD

Awesome Toboc

He was really cool!
True. Not everybody good with both legs.

They need to teach the students how to hold the pads correctly.....or the pds are going smack them in the face when they get kicked. lol

Why is ur push kick so weak?
wow that front kick was stiff, is considerd that a push kick
airman20012001 it was a push kick indeed

Are you still turning your leg? lol thats for beginners
The standing leg?
it's for beginners if their not flexible enough to do high kicks without turning foot.

It's for demostration.
He kick hard, but only right foot...I think he is not a champs
His record says otherwise my friend.
Nobody see him in a fight or using his left leg. That's a martial artist? I don't think so
He had hip surgery on his other leg about this time. Superfoot Bill Wallace usually only kicked with his left leg because he destroyed his right knee doing judo. Would you consider him not to be a martial artist? If you watch Master Suska's older videos it clearing shows him using both legs.
największy cykor w historii TKD
