Back then Konami was trying to balance the archetype. There a fine line between balancing and making it unplayable, but from what I have heard this deck was able to sometimes win against dragon rulers.
I don't know if it would be smart, but has anyone tries to use rekindling in the deck to spam out 4s to make more rank 4s. Also could you use UFD instead of other copies of some cards in the extra
@@RohanSingh-cf9tk sadly in a pure BB deck only the 1 monster has 200 def. So it’s not worth doing unless specifically running 200 def fire monster garnets in the deck. Or you have some specific build in mind.
The fact that they made BB support that coincided with the release of the Duel Links character and didnt put them IN DL to make the deck actually worth investing in. They even made a pick up box like “wow guys you can give up your battle phase to end on a single xyz”
Yet everyone in dlm was like "it ain't gonna come lol" it very well could. Not like they'd break the game. Knowing konami they will add it when it will no longer be relevant.
Actually big comment: Blaster Dragon Ruler is at 1. Any fire deck with a card like Switchhitter benefits from it. Inconsistent but its 1 of removal or a link extender or a grind tool. Is it good? Kinda.
The branded player completely punted by not going for the safe play. If they normal summon albaz and then book it when you try to impermanence, they probably just win because I don’t think your deck can beat mirrorjade

First, I hope Mr. BT has a recovery that is as swift and pain-free as possible. I also wanted to take a moment to thank this channel for an element in content that isn't like a big one everyone does. As someone who has attention deficit, and can find it difficult to lock into videos of any length, the "set pieces" of MBT videos are a godsend to keep me tied in. (For examples from this video, the classic TMT intro, the "until now" whenever we talk about legacy support, "BUT 👏 FIRST 👏", the standard dialogue at the start of the actual games, etc). Bits like this not only make it easy for repeat viewers to be involved with the video, but it feels rewarding as a long time viewer when these crop up. I am o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶l̶y̶ not embarrassed to disclose that there are multiple shows on this channel where I say or do these bits along with the video every single time. This is really common in other media (it's the theme song, the "Previously on Yugioh", the protag's catchphrases, the "HOWEVER") but I think it's not as common in the yugitubing sphere outside of specifically intros, and I think it's a really cool thing this channel does. Far as I know there are no cards that allow you to conduct a second battle phase so if Big dad Konami ever blesses this deck with more support they’d better make a spell that includes battle phase 2. Literally will be in flavor and make the deck’s theme more impactful

There are cards that have conduct battle phase twice like weather report and last turn for….. some reason but we don’t have any designated cards that allow you to conduct multiple battle phases in a row. We have attack in multiples but not adding a new phase all together
I am guessing when MBT refers to one good fire archetype he is referring to Slamangreat but wasn't Infernoble a feared fire archetype deck as well, admittedly I am a casual with most of my knowledge being watching 5Ds and previous series combined with History of Yu-gi-oh.
sparrer isn't really a problem in a world where you need to play stuff like dark ruler and evenly to make it to turn 3, this deck is like if war rock was a viable rogue strategy
i think the inclusion of chaos would help. plus i know a lot of people forget but there is so much number support out especially now it hurts. especially if your number 101-107.
… That solfaccord deck was actually nice. For some reason I keep playing against a suspicious amount of Solfaccord online 👀. Deck isn’t great or anything but it’s fun to see it
no use of the infernoble engine here? Them plus isolde ends with pretty much any hand making big charles and a boxer. It also benefits from your opponent getting magnetized to stopping Isolde, then you can drop a competent battlin boxer board
Words cannot express how excited I was to see this deck able to play without just being drag-down for Infernoble Knights, I actually played YGO online for the first time in literal years just to see the gang in action again, and it did not disappoint!
"Infernoble Knight Ricciardetto" sits pretty well in this deck. You can use both of its effects whether or not you lock yourself into Special Summoning "Battlin' Boxer" monsters. If you don't lock yourself and want to play an extra brick or two, you can also do the new Infernoble Knight combo and summon "Emperor Charles the Great".
I miss when you were completely wrong about archetype viability like with sky striker can you go back to being wrong please it might change space-time and make boxers good
Imo for master duel support for old archetypes and whatnot shouldn't be tied to the meta releases like if it won't shake up the Meta why not ? I want my sushi cards 😢
That dragon is dragon ruler. The broken level 7 abuse a lot powerful rank 7. Fun fact, Kashtira also level 7 and the history powerful level 7 / rank 7 is repeat again.

Surprised you went with pure and not with an infernoble package,sure promoter is nice but isolde resolves pretty much every problem with the deck sans nibiru lol Also such frustrating support,the lock on promoter is so unnecessary their new rank up is literally unplayable so have to use 3 materials for the boss... The cards are damn good(the xyz is flat out insane) but just cut short of playable
While going pure I don't think is that powerful, splashing Infernoble can really make cards like Uppercutter and Sparrer pop, especially the latter who can be searched with Uppercutter, made into Dempsey, detatched for Dempsey's effect to prevent targetting, and added added back with a Renaud searched off Dempsey. Makes Uppercutter into a 1 card full Charlemagne line
Yknow that Chimera player made me realise, FD is at 3 right now isnt it? Why arent more Chimera players on it, the card is functionally unhit and its crazy good. I get why Branded Despia avoids it, space and all that, but Chimera has a ton of space, thats part of its strength.

My favourite archetype since I wrecked caveman format in 2014 with Lead Yoke. Built it in Legacy of the Duelist and procedeed to win every single duel in the game with it. First deck I ever bought on paper. When I found out it was gonna get new support after having been ignored for almost a decade I was so fucking overjoyed. I love decks built around the Battle Phase and this was the first true chance Konami had to make a good Battle Phase deck. …So, the new support is unplayable garbage-

It really does suck that an archetype with this small of an engine is archetype locked. All that space and all you can put in is a cringe level of handtraps
Fun fact, you can play a small Infernoble engine in this deck which helps with both boardbreaking and large monsters. 1x Turpin, 1x Ricardetto, 1x Almace, 1x Museum and for extra the Charlemange line. And for the extra desperate, this is a warrior deck with equips so why not play Isolde?
Counter Traps are supposed to be useful in a flurry of disruption by being harder to interact with than other things. The problem is SS2 backrow removal is too commonplace for that nowadays. The big issue with Red Reboot though is that it wad tied to Life Points instead of a specific monster class, that sort of thing is why Solemns kept flip-flopping on the banlist for a while. Strike + Board Wipe still clears against monster spam if they have no good ways to interact with backrow, but almost everything has something these days.
