GREAT video!!! Thank you for the comparison. I didn't know that the Natches was so MUCH BIGGER! I love the Natchez, it's an excellent knife so of course, the Laredo's on it's way (in 4034 too)! One of them I'll end up getting in 3V and I think that the Laredo might be it but, I gotta see how it feels. And I had a friend (another Utuber) sand down that blocky G-10 handle on that knife and says, it's one of the best Bowie's he has now!!! Again man, great video...
The squared off handle is the joy for real knife martial artists though. It takes some getting used to, but that type of design gives the fighters a real feel of what the current angle of the knife is in the middle of a fight when everything is so slippery and sweaty.
That is a knife👍👍 I have Natchez bowie in san mai iii made in Japan...old order of mine.... but still nobody knows which is better steel ,if 3V or San Mai iii VG1.... Depends on making certain piece
Nice review. Thanks. Got the laredo in 3V as well. I havent used the sheat yet. I think it will scratch it so im having a friend make a leather sheat. I dont understand why cold steel makes a modern tech-like sheat for a classic bowie
I just purchased the Laredo in 3v but with the Kray-Ex handle and I’m trying to find a video with that same handle. You can’t really tell from pics. I assume it more grippy and a rubber feel?
@@isaacs_knives_and_knowledge that’s what’s confusing me. Chicago Knife Works sells another Laredo in 4034 Stainless and in the description it says G10 handle. On other sites of seen Micarta handles. The particular knife I purchased says black Kray-Ex handle and I can’t find anything about that like you say so guess I’ll find out
I love that knife….. that’s one I haven’t picked up yet it’s on the list…….. thanks for showing it stay well 😊
Thanks!
Awesome old world Bowie brother. Cold steel does a great job on some of the classic designs.
Yes they do

Thanks! Watch out for the next Midway sale

Great to know that. Appreciate you sharing that info and helping me learn something today.
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you watching
Nice knife on my bucket list
It's a cool one
Awsome blade as always 😊
Thanks 👍
Nice knife. I slide my knife on the spine when putting it into or pulling it out of the sheath that way it doesn't dull the edge.
Good thinking

It definitely deserves leather
I would already own one if CS would ever get rid of the cable tang which causes the handle to crack and split over time with much heavy use.
Awesome jug killing 😁🤘⚔️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love both blades but natches is a bit big unless you wore em in your belt
Natchez is definitely a big one
Naches has a sharpened swedge the loredo does not
Neither are sharp on mine
Considered the music, decided to skip to the meat of the discussion.
Please reconsider the farkles, and stick to pertinent information.

I don't think they make this with Kray-Ex. Where did you buy it?
@@isaacs_knives_and_knowledge Chicago Knife Works and it was on sale for $260

@@isaacs_knives_and_knowledge I just hope they are not calling Micarta handle Kray-Ex I don’t care for the Micarta. I would rather have the G10
What handle is that?
G10
