Nice job of keeping that right hand forward without pole plants while holding the camera, you're a great skier. I had to ski for about a month back in the day at Alta/Bird with my arm in a sling from a shoulder injury and it was tough to keep my upper body downhill especially charging through powder and trees but it made me a better skier.

we tried that before and its just too much work and delays the production of the videos. i put the stats at the end of each video that shows my max speed, though.
You 100% need AWD with winter rated tires if you want to make it up little cottonwood canyon. If you have 2WD, you need to have chains. Do not underestimate the canyon.

During the core season, Snowbird and Jackson are two of the best mountains, in my opinion. But you and I should be at Mammoth. The whole summit ridge is open and the snow looks decent. I saw someone rippin down Philippe's yesterday morning on the McCoy midstation cam shortly after they opened the summit. Mammoth is my go to mountain in early and late season.

Ski boots are really a personal choice. Def recommend going in and trying different brands on bc they all have unique fits and some may fit your feet better than others!
Bummer the ‘Bird didn’t pick you up again. Probably no reason other than they chose to go with someone else this year. For the best that you don’t have to feel beholden to them. I think you should checkout Crested Butte later in the year when everything is open. You’ll be surprised at the variety of terrain.
That is wild on the Pass. The cost of the pass is a drop in the bucket for the return they would have received from your channel. Snowbird should be embarrassed by this. You rep that resort like nobody else. I have been there the last two season. I think i will skip the bird and hit up Colorado this time. I will be back in 25/26 season.
I’m sure it’s not malicious or ill intentioned on their end. They likely only have so many passes to give out and they must not see a good return on giving me a pass compared to an actual athlete or something. At least we still have 6 more days there.

Going to be honest here. Love Lucas, the channel and the content. But if I'm being honest here I can see why Snowbird didn't give him two season passes again. I simply don't think the incremental content on the Bird last season vs prior seasons merits the pass. They already have a ton of exposure so they probably bably needed content once a week on average plugging Snowbird and they probably wanted heavier advertising which I'm glad you didn't sell your soul to do. Even getting hooked up last season is amazing and a big win! Upward and onward.
Yeah I’m sure they had their reasons. But just to mention actual statistics, I uploaded 35 videos for the 2023/24 season from Snowbird on UA-cam for 980k views, 10 videos on instagram for 2.3M views and several on TikTok for 1.5M views. I also always plug them when someone asks me what my favorite resort is. Not to mention all the other videos I’ve made at Snowbird over the years during 2022/23 and 2021/22. Deer Valley hooked me up with a season pass this year so I’m stoked for that.
@Snowbird Why on earth would you not give Lucas a season pass? He’s the best UA-camr on skis and loves your mountain. You don’t want an ambassador like that filming more content on your mountain? Foolish decision in my opinion.
originally, the channel was never meant to just be a ski channel so i started new seasons in each calendar year and thats just what stuck. now, im just a ski youtuber so i can see why it would make sense to start new seasons when the ski season begins.

I definitely like the way you kinda go on blue runs and find tracks to the side with jumps, that my favorite way of skiing
Mainly for fun and not challenge instead of just doing blacks all day
