Korek ka dyan kuya, ALAMAT deserves more recognition. Napaka creative, napaka talented pero hindi napapansin ng karamihan.
Pinakamagandang interpretation ng ILY - ILY na narinig ko is it represents two types of love daw, love from the parents and love from their child/children, kaso separated by hyphen kasi magkahiwalay sila 🥹 Pero na like ni Alamat yung comment ko na sinadya nila i spell ung Ili-Ili as Ily-Ily para double meaning na I love you. Ang risky ng Alamat to push this kind of song, sabi nga nung reactor na nawatch ko, because confident sila na they have "Thinking" audience. Plus for me super bagay na si Lyca yung napili nia na i-collab dito, di pilit eh. She's one with Alamat sa video na to. And nakakatuwa na kahit parang may apat na genre ung kanta, hindi sia tunog messy. Napakacohesive nung tunog, good job talaga sa production ng Viva, alam na alam mong forte nila ang pagproduce ng music.

Loved your reaction. It's nice to watch int'l reactors' takes, but this song needs Filipino reactors because with Alamat's MVs, one has to dig deeper, and has to be at least culturally and musically sensible when reacting to it. Kasmala is another MV that needs an insightful reaction. Music is universal, but Alamat's content is more than music. It's like a book that has to be analyzed. I first heard of Alamat 'coz of this song on my feed, and I'd been a fan ever since. I'm a sucker for anything Filipino, and this group brought out the swag in our culture through music. Aside from the boys, I commend the creative team behind this. They are brilliant. I think this song is a masterpiece and this group should be recognized as youth ambassadors for culture and the arts. I totally agree with you, it's like watching a play. It's a musical journey of kundiman, rap and rock and culture and languages all mixed in one. Can't wait for their new album to come out.
