i'm so happy the Holy Spirit has convicted you in this area of your life. similar to you, modesty didn't happen for me overnight! i've realized in my own faith journey & walk with the Lord; there were certain things the Holy Spirit immediately convicted me of (sex before marriage, fornicating, getting drunk, etc) but there were also things He slowly and gently revealed to me that i knew was not honoring or glorifying God, such as the way i was dressing! i was attracting the WRONG attention from the WRONG people and not only that but i felt so uncomfortable going out in revealing clothes knowing it may cause another brother to stumble in his own purity walk! we represent Christ, therefore we should act/dress like so! i want to honor God, i want to honor my future husband, i want to please God in everything i say and do, including how i dress. :) this video was very well done, i am so proud of you sister! 💗 to surrender and to be obedient! thank you Jesus 🙏🏻

this is such a beautiful testimony of the Holy Spirits grace and truthfulness 💕 and this is so similar to me too! sometimes it takes us to feel the consequences before we stand humble before God in agreement with His word and His conviction. God bless you sis xx

This video really helped open my eyes on modesty. I have come to say to myself that “ I want to show how beautiful Gods creation is “ I am 17 and I have never had a serious relationship with a boy so I know now that I was dressing for men in many ways with what I would wear, but also I realize that most of my outfits I wore because I generally love the way I looked in that outfit. My next struggle is what to wear on the beach, I love going swimming but I also don’t want to be a distracting for men who are trying to become less sinful. Currently I wear a bikini top with shorts while I’m swimming. I will also wear a bikini top with a small skirt. I still have to talk to God about this but I can say that your video helped me understand the importance of letting god guide your life. Thanks girl you’re amazing and I def shared that his video with my best friend who has also expressed an interest in being closer to Christ.

I actually agree as I got older, I believe if you want to actract a high value man you should think about the way you dress and if you love your partner you should compromise.

      100%. it’s a harsh truth that isn’t comfortable but it’s something so important long-term

I love your curls by the way!!! Modesty is something that I always love and I do believe that we should dress modestly as believers because we’re representing Jesus

‘how you dress is what you attract’ PERIOD!!
i always feel awful when i slightly feel like we can kind of help that fact that we get looked at by men, by covering up and dressing modestly
mysoginists and sexists are the those that people think say ‘you’re just asking for it’ and let me say im NOT any of those things, but in some ways it is true? 😬like
no girl is ‘asking’ to be assaulted absolutely not. in this case the onus and blame is 100% on the man, but i think when men stare that tends to be down to our outfits (but like you said, this excludes the weirdos that would stare even if you wore a plastic bag lmao)

PREACH!! definitely lots of creepy men around. when i was in lisbon i was wearing mum jeans and a jumper on (i looked about 12) and i had men stare & come up to me and call me beautiful 🤣 so they would do that regardless.
BUT we all have enough self-awareness to know when we’re provoking those sort of interactions and if there’s a level of discomfort in that then we need to think to ourselves if there’s anything we can do about it.
thanks so much for your comment & sharing your views 💕

And to add to that when you dress modestly it’s more mystery as well for example, he will want to take you nice places vs if you dress like a prostitute you will actract thsoe men who want to take you to hotel rooms 😂😂
