Kobe paras really played well. But what i adored most about him on this game is when he picked the loose shoe and handed it to the indonesian player. I think thats how games should be played, not just aiming for medals but building camaraderie. Congrats to both teams.

I think Thailand is the most threatening team in Southeast Asia against the Philippines. Aside from being reinforced by Tyler Lamb, they studied and prepared outstandingly against our Gilas Cadets this SEA games but they still lost to us narrowly by a close margin. But due to their commitment in stopping the Philippines, they forgot the likes of Arki Wisnu and Mario Wuysang being both premier basketball superstars in SEA as well. Thailand focused too much on gaining victory against Gilas to the point that they forgot to scout and prepare for other countries such as Indonesia as well. Well for Indonesia for this game , they looked sluggish and weary after the first quarter. I also feel like Wisnu and Wuysang were exhausted from yesterdays game against Thailand given their stat line (or is it just Rayray Parks' defense?). But it is what it is. Gilas Cadets got tired because of Singapore too. Well, Congratulations to your country for the silver medal. Indonesia has a bright future ahead, especially with Grahita and Dhyaksa; they just have to improve on their consistency since Wuysang is on his twilight years already. Congrats Gilas! Even though it's expected, we should not take gilas winning the gold for granted. Their hard work at practices has to be given credit.. we've seen it paying off on both sides. Good job to the coaches too, as they employed plays that benefited all players and worked for international games. It's only up from here. Other countries keep improving and to win, we should always outdo their improvements. Be better than the best! Good job Gilas. We are all proud!
