They already confirmed during melly’s trial that it is “IMPOSSIBLE” for bortlen to have done the shooting. The shots came from behind. So bortlen 100% didn’t do it, and they couldn’t prove melly was without a doubt the person behind the driver which was bortlen, so they got nothing on either.

The state proved in the first trial that it would b impossible for bortlen to have fired the fatal shots because there was blood on the top right shoulder of his shirt and no blood splatter on the driver seat meaning his back was plush to the seat when the shots were fired from inside the car making it literally impossible to shoot juvy in the left side of his face and the back of sak head
And I believe that the GSR is from being in close proximity when the shots went off not to mention the trajectory of the bullets were proven to come from left to right and there is no blood on the back driver seat meaning someone was sitting there when the shots were fired the drive by was staged Melly phone was obviously at the scene the victims satchel was never recovered at the hospital the call to the gf mom saying he was in a drive by the call to fredo to pick him up this whole thing was sloppy if bortlen didn’t do it then who did? Melly was the only other person seen getting into the backseat the red car he claimed he got in was already at the gated complex when the murder occurred and phone records prove he wasn’t in that vicinity I think he’s guilty the state just need to chill with the theatrics focus on pure facts and they can win this case

Now, how insane is that? This is not a game...or some live music video....this young man is in court because he offed his alleged friends. This young man is facing possibilities of being strapped to a gurney and having people behind a curtain or wall use a syringe with poison in it go into his veins. The first one will put him in to a light sleep, while the second one (poison) goes straight to his heart and slowly begins to shut it down, causing him to twitch, cough and slobber until he is no longer breathing. This process will be witnessed by the victims parents, his lawyer and the prison staff. A really lonely and agonizing way to go out. Yet, the "music fans" act like he's gonna walk out and start where he left off. If he does do prison time, he'll be a lifer and you'll never see him again.
