Here’s another story,
how my cat got worried,
When we brought new kitten to our home.
First, he was just scared,
then became prepared
To restrain newcomer and to quash.
He became a Tiger,
even stripes went brighter,
And his tail was wiggling as a cosh.
Dear tiny kitten timidly was peeping
Sitting in its box,
not to be squashed.
Stripy cat, you tiny little brat,
Say hello and have a little chat.
This is Patt, she’s just another cat,
Be polite and do not try to fight.
Gracefully and calmly,
Patt appeared finally,
She stretched out her paws and showed her claws,
Then she leaned to Tiger,
Checked that he does like her,
And she looked him over seeking flaws.
Suddenly my brat-cat wasn’t fun to look at,
He became all lost and even dull,
Patt went round the house,
With a little grouse,
Like a lady, who was checking things.
Stripy cat, you tiny little brat,
Say hello and have a little chat.
This is Patt, she’s just another cat,
Be polite and do not try to fight.

But I love them both,
Alas, they are not close,
They are not good friends
And they contend.
Patt is very cheeky,
Tiger is all geeky,
But I tell you that I have best pets.
Stripy cat, you are my handsome brat,
Come and sit, stay purring on my lap.
Fluffy Patt, she’s an amazing cat,
But she’s lazy, clumsy, … a bit fat.
