@HumbledTrader - Shay, I notice that you are placing trades worth $50,000 to $300,000 in your demonstration videos. How much do you need in your margin account to make those trades?

I used to freeze up and completely miss the trade so now I automate my entry so it takes out the emotions. If i'm anticipating a pivot off of a key level then I will layer orders into that level for a starter only. Then I will layer stop losses on the other side of that level for only half of the starter position. If my thesis is correct and everything works out then I add full size after it retests that level and fails to follow through. I force myself into the trade but if i'm wrong then my starter will be cut in half then I can close the rest out manually. I only do this on mid and large caps.

The ifs though don't have to be a long list ...the longer the list actually the likely it is for a trader to hesitate...a minimum of two entry criteria are enough..Simplicity is the utmost sophistication someone said...and I beleive this is very true in a field as complicated as trading...Simplicity is key...I keep my chart clean..no indcators whatsover..mmm maybe a trendline but not always...but again as you said it depends on whatever instrument or market one is trading...

Im using a prop firm where they say if im down $200 my position gets closed automatically. This is all while I have to make $4200 in 45 days lol. 50% of my income is profit, and the other 50% are losses from trying to time the market right lol. Trading execution is very important even without prop firm rules so this should be a great video going in

Hey Shay!!! Been watching all the videos and saving up to join Humbled trader, some things I haven't been able to find out here and would love to see is what does your Trading journal look like? How do you structure it to backtest, and critique yourself before moving forward. Would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

I think you should put the lower monitor closer to the table, using a table mount. Or maybe just set it on the table, so that the upper monitor can be closer to your eye level. I cant imagine how my neck would be if I have to look at that upper monitor for hours per day.

Hey, Humbled Trader! This video couldn't come at a better time 😅I've been watching and studying your videos for over 6 months now, watched everything, BUT I do have indecisiveness issue.. Often times I wait too long for confirmation and by the time I do get in, the move goes against me 😔So I would be forever grateful if you could share your thoughts on these:
    - How long do you personally wait for confirmation on your thesis? (Is it until 1/2/5 minute candle forms?)
    - Do you usually enter a trade right at the open? (9:30 am) Or do you mostly wait for confirmation? What would you suggest?
    - Percentage wise, when do most your trades place in the day? 9:30-11?
    - Can you shade light on stop loss orders? Should we, beginner traders use them? Actual live stop orders? Or better to use mental stop order level because MM will stop hunt your actual stop orders?
Thank you again for everything you do 🙏💙

Depends on whether ur going long or short, a general confirmation is to wait for the key level retest after the breakout or breakdown. Knowing when your entry typically happens based on statistics helps too. You can check out my backtesting tutorial video

Do you think it is possible for a day trader to succeed without a margin account and making daily trades that don't exceed 30% of total trading budget since it takes two days for sold trades to clear?

The BIGGEST reason why most traders fail is because of POSITION SIZE ... Next time you trade, just try cutting your position size in half and see how much your P&L will grow .. Thank me later ..!

Then it is that I am to marry the youngest so thst the money is held between us the longest and she be wisened by age and responsibility if it is that I die old like feisel. And she may grow into filling my needs as a man as she wills and then her older sister be 2nd wife if she is old enough, to understand my needs as a man and King and the younger wife and our happiness as she grows.. their mother? Or motthers.. .. apparently know how tto give birth.. so tthe it is that I must marry her and give the queens a sister of my own blood so our famikies be bonded by blood snd they not deny their sister and will grow friendly together.
