- *EDIT* This was NOT my actual first test that I took. I'm not sure why I said that...I blame it on being nervous. I'm assuming I meant to say first test on camera? Who knows haha
Here is a video compilation of me taking the test, telling my husband, and telling our family via video chat!

Beautiful reaction! My husband and I got pregnant on our very first try and found out we were expecting identical twins at 8 weeks along! I always thought conceiving would be difficult for some reason, but nope! Two for the price of one. ;)

I went to Alaska in August this year and then Orlando, Florida in September. It's so cool that you grew up in Florida and moved to Alaska. I would love to see your experience living in Alaska. I felt that it was such an interesting and magical place.
Yes...it has been such a change for me! I do love it so far though! I'm so new to youtube and vlogging so my videos are coming slowly but I definitely plan to shoot some random "Alaska adventure" videos! It's so amazing to me that winter started in October and I've got another 4 months left of it. In Florida we were lucky if we had a month or two of cold weather! :)

concratiulations. I took my first pregnancy test too but together with my husband. And it was faint too. But we are not sure yet. So we will take it next week. Hopefully we are lucky as you.
Thank you!! So this wasn't actually my first pregnancy test I ever took (not sure why I said that in the video)....it was my 2nd test for that month of us trying. It was much clearer in person than it showed on camera but my understanding is that even a faint is positive! I have my fingers crossed for you two! Good luck! :)

congratulations on the bby I remember the at my little brother came home from the hospital and I was soo mad because I wasn't the little one any more.:-( but now I am so happy he did because we have grown together with our older brother and our family 😃

I was having a hard time getting pregnant so my Doctor tried having my tubes blown. I got pregnant on the the very first time!! Now, Ihave my son who is now 29 and we couldn't be happier!!!!

Congratulations 😊Me and my husband are trying for our first and today my af came,i thought i was pregnant had all the pregnancy symptoms but nothing. My question is since you guys have been trying for 2 months,im wondering if you guys got pregnant before or after ovulation. To see what in earth im doing wrong. Please respond back. Thank you so much! Congrats to you guys as well for making the decision to start trying! Let me just start off saying I am NO expert, but this is what happened for us haha. For me I never knew exactly what day I was ovulating so I just went with the standard rule of thumb (for a 28 day cycle) that days 11-18 are fertile days and day 14 is usually when you ovulate. So me we made sure to "try" every other day or so during that window. It's my understanding that most people conceive during ovulation but I do know it's possible a day or so after but since I didn't know when I ovulated I can't help with that question. My advice is to just have fun with it and try not to get too stressed out waiting for it to happen because everyone is going to be different. When we first started trying I had the mindset that it was going to take at LEAST a few months if not a year...but it came sooner than expected which was a nice surprise. :) I hope that was at least a little helpful. Thank you!! I just stopped taking birth control as soon as we decided to start trying. What I meant by weening off of it was that sometimes it can take the body some time for birth control to get out of your system if you've been on it for a long time. That wasn't necessarily true in my case though. ☺️

Did you take medicine to help you get pregnant
We didn't take any fertility medicine. Once we decided to start trying I started taking prenatal vitamins but that is it.
At 0:08 she says "I'm about to take my very first pregnancy test" then at about 0:23 she's saying she took a test before lol hmmm.
LOL I have no clue why I said my very first pregnancy test. I was so nervous doing the video so there were a few *slap my forehead* moments that I caught. Just like me pointing out that I was holding a spoon...duh haha.
