- After almost a year stuck in production, we’re finally done! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out on this project!
This MAP is an interpretation of Darkstalker’s interaction with Qibli at the end of Wings of Fire book 10. Darkstalker is trying to convince Qibli to join him in manipulating himself to be king of everything. Darkstalker shows him his future, riddled with fame and power and fortune. Qibli, who has wanted animus magic his whole life, declines his offer for the sake of his friends. Everything turns as the ghost of Darkstalker’s father, Arctic, appears to torment him. It only gets worse for him as Kinkajou, the least likely suspect to ever save the world, hands him a strawberry that transforms him into Peacemaker.

I just realized a horrifying implication.
When the ghost of Arctic echoes that Darkstalker has "friends on the other side," the first instinct is to wonder "Why would Arctic fill that role? Sure, he's on the other side, but a friend?"
But Darkstalker enchanted him to obey his every command. What if not even _death_ could free him from his fate? Darkstalker's puppet, for all eternity - a fate that could befall _anyone?_
But him laughing shows it was either an act or he just got freeded either way he still gets the last laugh
Oh dear… I’m very concerned about Arctic’s fate now…
I think that when darkstalker turned to peacemaker he was finally free because darkstalker was no more so no one had control over him anymore

Kinkajou suddenly having the most sinister vibe ever is probably the most amazing touch ever. I had to rewatch that part so many times it’s so GOOD.
I am usually not afraid but kinkajou just gives off a psychotic touch that I never knew about
I like how Kinkajou is almost like a villain in this lol

When Kinkajou tricked Dark Stalker I whooped when reading it!
She studied so hard to learn to read and write.
She used the last tiny fragments of the last of Dark Stalkers Scroll 📜 , and with the help his own Mother, did him in the Rainwing way.
Not by killing him, but my using his own magic against him, and making him “normal/part Rainwing”.
She would be a villain in his eyes after all, she literally used the last bit of his scroll to take his powers away and turn him back into a NightWing dragonet- part RainWing too!
Yo this was sick!
I honestly can't believe the line "Your mother, your sister and your brother."
Was freaking *made* for Qibli.
And Kinkajou looked freaking badass!
I'm just disappointed that in the part where he said "you'd be pushed round by your wife" there wasn't an image of Winter because I think that would be funny as hell
Bro they did that gag like 6 times elsewhere in the animation. It still would’ve been funny though.

AT LAST THE *FIRST EVER* DARKSTALKER/QIBLI DYNAMIC MAP IS COMPLETED!!!
This scene is without a doubt my favorite moment in the entire Wings Of Fire franchise. So much phenomenal hinting and foreshadowing throughout literally the entirety of Arc 2 had been leading to this definitive concluding conversation: the antagonist offering the protagonist his dream come true to ensure his own victory. Darkstalker and Qibli are dark and light reflections of each other who stand on opposite sides of morality, yet they fully understand each other. If things went just a little bit different for either of them, they could’ve turned out just like each other. The psychological aspect of all this really makes you think, which is why I love it so much.
This MAP deserves to blow up with fame in this fandom. Thank you for making it come true Axjaxx!

It’s so cool how Kinkajou is portrayed as villainous at the end; it makes sense from Darkstalker’s perspective. I’ve never seen anything like it, this MAP is so cool!😊
Gosh, this is so dynamic, so smooth and beautiful. And the outro was simply magestic. Also the moment of Kinkajou giving Darkstalker a final "f*ck you" before turning him into Peacemaker, is gonna live in my head rent free 🥰

Darkstalker was dismissive of Kinkajou, thanks to Turtles animus Magic, it gave her time to use her new skill of reading and writing on the last scraps of Darkstalkers scroll, and with Foe Slayers help, Darkstalkers reign of terror was over.
Kinkajou trolled him the Rainwing way. Not by killing, but neutralizing him. Plus making him part Rainwing.
Under Glory’s leadership, I can see in a few centuries Rainwing and Nightwing tribes fully uniting/hybridizing and becoming one tribe fully.
Kestrels spirit would be so shocked, yet so pleased.
She turned a “Lazy Rainwing” into the Queen of no one, but two different tribes!
this is the most accurate Darkstalker MAP i’ve ever seen
also the Winter and Qibli ship actually got attention here wow
Omg the scene at 0:53 “make your wildest dreams come true” where Winter is flirting/confessing to Qibli 🤣. Also at 1:13 where Qibli and Winters future is together 💀🤣😭. Gotta love the little details. I’m watching this right after finishing Ark 2, and I am going to get Ark 3 soon.

My goodness me, watching this a second time highkey made me well up. This was an absolutely phenomenal project and I'm so proud to be a part of it, and very grateful for my collab partners. Fantastic job, everybody! It's been a pleasure!!
I find it amusing that during his very few appearances in this MAP, Winter is characterized to be way more agreeable and easygoing than he is throughout Arc 2 XD
I love how there's Quinter shippers instead of moon and Qibli, its just phenomenal (Comign from a Quinter shipper)

I love how this went from darkstalker dealing with qibli to a winter x qibli then kinkajou being evil to me wanting to watch the credits
This was LEGENDARY! Everyone who worked on this should be proud of what they have created. From the designs, to the storytelling, to the art, this was PHENOMENAL. Absolutely phenomenal! This is going to go down in history as one of the greatest MAPs in Wings of Fire history!

I like how y’all made kinkajou scary and villainous, given the fact that darkstalker may have seen her as a villain for what she did to him, and the fact that in darkstalker’s time trainings were the most feared dragons.

@@princekig he couldn't have been killed, because he made himself immortal, completely, like nothing could hurt or kill him in any way, he made sure of that, the only ways that stopped him were enchanting him to fall asleep forever, and turning him into a baby Rainwing, and everyone forgetting who Darkstalker is, Darkstalker doesn't exist anymore

2:13 this up to the end is so good! Kinkajou was so well done in this map! Her movements, just the way she was drawn at 2:31 is phenomenal! I like the way her frill goes up and down, and the way arctic says you got what you wanted at 2:37 is a really good suggestion that the moment arctic died, darkstalker had sealed his fate.

I freaking LOVED seeing all of the animators; and even more, all of their various designs made for DarkStalker! Honest to god one of the best WoF MAPS I’ve seen.
I started the song and immediately heard the voice of King Andrias (from Amphibia, great show, I recommend if you like animated shows) and LOST my CRAP.

This MAP was SO COOL! I love Princess and the Frog AND Wings of Fire, therefore this is the perfect combination for me. The work put into this is phenomenal, and Peril setting the Uno cards on fire was gorgeous.

I LOVE THIS MAP'S PROTRAYAL OF KINKAJOU. IVE ALWAYS WANTED A VILLIAN KINKAJOU.
YALL I HAVE AN EVIL KINKAJOU AU IDEA GERE YA GO:
Kinkajou enchanted another scroll before enchanting the strawberry like in canon. She enchants things and extra scrolls for when the current one runs out of space. She stashes old scrolls in the ground, first she used the powers of these scrolls for good, but slowly wanted to test out the full extent of them. It lead to experiments on the wildlife, then moved to dragons. Another dragon found one of the experimental scrolls gave it to queen glory who practically told Kinkajou 'stop with the scrolls or gtfo anc become a wanted criminal' Kinkajou left, she wanted to continue experimenting on dragons and now with no threat from a queen, she can do worse experiments without risking being found out because well, she already has. Now she keeps the old scrolls in her hideaway and of course dug up the ones in the ground so she didn't have more trouble then she already did.

Everyone did such an amazing job with animating! I love how the proportions and placements of the parts of the dragons really showed the drama and the depth in the story, so well timed too! 👍
