I AM The Resurrection and the Life

Today’s teaching is about the 5th ‘I Am’ statement of Jesus. “I am the Resurrection and the Life”.
Jesus said to Martha in John 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die”.
John’s gospel tells us also that Jesus is the author of life. In the beginning Jesus helped God the Father create the world, he helped create us.
John 1:14 tells us “In him [in Jesus] is life.” It should not surprise us that nothing is impossible for him, Jesus can bring life to the dead.
In this teaching I explain how the resurrection of the Lord differed from other raisings from the dead that we find in the Bible.

We are surrounded today by people who, when they die, will experience everlasting judgment and wrath through sin if nothing changes. And we have the good news of You Jesus as The Resurrection and The Life.
