I’m so excited! Like everyone else lol. This show is a little bit more complex than anyone thought. We were like yay fluffy, feel good show, but it does have its moments where shit gets a little too real. But it is mostly fluff. Can’t wait for the journey!

this show is so good! this episode is so funny! the fall and catch in the dance class lol, hilarious. But don't worry there's more to the show than just the comedy. About the singing, i get it, but to be fair most musicals are like that, only a few of them have "live" singing.

As for your comments at the end I would say msp isn’t fully comedy it does seem like that by the first episode but it does tackle some deep topics throughout. It’s also one of the shows where by each episode it gets better and better when I was watching I thought there was no possible way it could get better but it did.
As for the singing live thing if you go behind the scenes and see it’s quite impossible to have them sing live due to the audiences or extras they have screaming so loudly a lot of the audio would overlap. I will say there are a couple of times in the show where they do.

About this being a comedy, I wouldn't disagree, but this is mostly a green flag story about two boys falling in love with each other, centered around music. It's mostly cute (and yes, there are some laughs too, but you'll get used to it and even start laughing too) because Tinn's (Gemini) and Gun's (Fourth) love story is just so innocent and pure. It's true love. They're EXTREMELY understanding of each other (which surprised me because usually BLs are filled with misunderstandings and drama), and are so supportive of each other too and the romantic moments don't feel forced and feels so natural because of the astronomical chemistry between Gemini and Fourth. Also they do tackle some sensitive topics. And they are not even breezed through. They actually discuss those. And you could even feel the gravity of it. So trust me, MSP isn't all about comedy and romance. You'll find yourself sobbing too.
There are some live music moments and trust me, Gemini and Fourth are singers in real life (they had a whole solo concert fully packed for two days in one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, hall(s) in Thailand and are going overseas to many countries with the rest of the gang. They have such complimentary voices and it blends so well together. And when they sing live, maaaaan. I don't know if you've heard them live, but they're like extremely good and I'm usually very judgmental when it comes to music and actors singing. But these two can actually ACTUALLY sing.
Comedies aren't much for me either. I would prefer BLs like Moonlight Chicken too but ever since watching MSP, I couldn't stop watching. It's such a feel good show if you are coming home from a tired day and just want to relax. But grab a pillow cuz you're gonna have to hold it when you're squeeing cuz these two are FUCKING adorable.
Please continue watching this, Janay. You'll fall in love after the second and third episode, I'm positive. If it was any other show, I wouldn't take my time typing all this. But honestly, My School President is a masterpiece.
