Back in my barracks in West Germany 85 l had the 12 “ and a massive poster in my room. Another great piece of work thanks. It’s like she’s here in the room with me. Especially as none of us are ever likely to see her live sadly so this is making our dreams come alive!!!
Thank you! Although I do have the original 12-inch single from 1985, I have used the remastered cd-version for this mix. I'm currently making a series of extended (re)mixes of Kate Bush singles. Virtual maxi singles if you like. I use a programme called Ultimate Vocal Remover, in order to isolate the vocals and create instrumental tracks. And then I just tinker around a bit to see what works. This particular song is more or less a reconstruction of the original 12-inch with the missing verse and choruses of the album/7-inch version mixed in. I have kept the rather crisp sound of the drums on the 12-inch version throughout.
@@seventyfive4169 Wow! Interesting process! Don't think i have heard anything similar before. Nice work! I just make basic needle drops on my channel, pure recordings without adding or taking anything off. Well only rarely some loud pops and clicks manually removed. Leaving the audio quality alone :)
Who’s still here 2024 I love this song 🎵

That is very cool! Sounds good. Do you rip these from your own vinyl collection or what method do you use?
