Thank you very much Venerable Guan Cheng for your continuous effort in passing your great wisdom in your teaching. Also thank you to everyone who is here to encourage each other in our path in seeking the truth in life. 🙏
Life can be pleasurable just by sitting down quietly and watching, analysing, reflecting how busy we can be in chasing what we call life but rather a ticking away of time in not appreciating the lives which are here before us. I am just a passer-by and I am grateful for the beautiful world which has been here all along.
When I was very young, Buddha taught me to quickly get over the life of human & then enjoy time with him in a peaceful way. So I always say that Heaven is on Earth if one can see through the true meaning of life. Nothing is permanent, do not waste too much time in pursuing and accumulating wealth/materials. Learn to be appreciative of what we have and that is basically a life to be thankful for.

I really like how you are open to the idea of other schools and an explanation for why they exist. Too many times in Buddhism one school will criticise another and see only their path is the right one 😢

that's a self concept in buddhism. If you still criticise, you still have self.(you can think it as ego) But the fact that buddhism in this case had transformed since it's passed down to many generations and then altered to adapt to the current situations.
