(unfortunately I don't have FL, nor do I have a suitable computer to run it on... so my own Akai MPK Mini is still gathering dust...).
one could use a different Daw such as the MPC Beats which is free and comes with the mpk mini controller, or a lighter Daw to work well with a slower computer. i agree, this is defintely an awesome tutrorial and unique on its kind. so well explained and displayed.

I am aware of FL, but at first I was just worried it is was the AKAI built-in software only (which I am sure is good), but wondering if I bought 'the wrong thing' (though the hardware is mostly the same). *Such* a good, clear tutorial, and obviously others like it too. Keep playing on, playing on--
Also I should say, though I might 'send myself to hell', in this world of over stuffed DJ's that I am *still* not convinced not that many know how to make music, but just put on a 'fancy dance'; But you explain your art 'exactly right'. Anyways, this is 'super cool'.
I believe they have trial periods when downloading the software.

How to do it with normal midi keyboard 6:14 to switch between samples
Can you do something when my akai delays?
All midi inputs have delay, but you can shorten it by changing sample rate. Try to use FL Asio or Asio 4All and change rate to ~248(don't remember precisely) or less... but your pc has to be powerful enough
if I dont have Sylenth1, what else could I use?
Any other plug-in. Try to Google free. There are lots of them. If you don't have experience, try to find the most familiar preset and tune it a little bit.

You can use free plug-ins. There are lots of them.
