His channel is filled with great videos & his "Through the Years" chronological playlist of songs that were good to use for Reaction Videos is still used today by many reactors. I have heard he has recently passed, but I don't know any details. He will be greatly missed as he was a walking encyclopedia of anything Angelina. If you watch the original video on Grandma Mery's fan channel, you will see that Rusty cut the very beginning where Angelina rolls her eyes as if to imply "here goes nothing," then she goes into her musical trance & begins to sing. He also cut the ending where the 11 yo comes out of her trance to give a happy "bye," but for this emotional performance with tears flowing, it didn't seem appropriate & I agree. RIP Rusty!

It continuously amazes me that, after 3 years of following Angelina, I still come across material from her that is new to me. I doubt there is many other artist who have been so extensively documented as Angelina. History in the making, imho.
I just love the innocence of the age when she's singing The Writing on the Wall. She just melts your heart with that beautiful voice. And that last one by Rusty Shackleford, so very beautiful, emotional, heart wrenching.
Angelina is never afraid to let us see the mistakes she makes as she practices new songs and it makes the finished product even better when we hear it. "If You Go Away" was written first in French in the late 1950s, and the English version has been covered by many artists, including the likes of Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond and many more (you might enjoy checking out a couple of them). The song basically presents two different emotional sides of the story: the intense pain and sorrow that would be felt by the storyteller if their loved one left, alternating with the relief, hope and joy they would feel if the loved one stayed, albeit a joy diluted and made tentative by the knowledge that the person is likely to leave anyway. Angelina, already so well known for her incomparable emotive prowess, tears into our hearts by delivering the two phases more intensely than any other artist I have ever heard, utterly as if she is living that story herself. "Talent" is too weak and small a word to describe what this phenomenal human being has flowing out of her every pore.
That song was originally written by singer songwriter Jacques Brel and titled Ne Me Quitte Pas. The title and lyrics were re-written for English translation which is no where near as good as the lyrics in the original song which was soooo moving and more poetic. Take a listen to the original.❤❤
