I saw an Instagram ad for the Santal & Vetiver where the lady said "This smells like you just walked out of the spa!" And because I love those essential oil spa scents I ordered the full size and wasn't happy with it. It doesn't remind me of typical relaxing and familiar spa scents, it's definitely an odd, unfamiliar scent. I'm not a scent specialist... but it kind of smells like wet moss and rocks, (which is fine) but with a STRONG like, lemongrass on top. That strong... tanginess is really in your face and that's the only thing you smell like. It actually became gross lol and overpowers any perfume. I still have hope that the other ones maybe smell more pleasant or feminine, so I'll try the other two. JUST MY OPINION
Thank you for this very honest review you saved me $20.00 I also like feminine fragrances Vetiver has been around for years and it's been used in men's fragrances that's why it smells masculine to you. Good catch on your behalf.
Hi Hannah, Hope you are well, I visited your UA-cam Channel and your video making is very good, and your content ideas are very nice Thank you so much💖💖
Agree. It doesn’t work like my other natural deodorants and this scent smells rancid. Like dill pickles with a hint of cedar. It’s all marketing. This is not actually a good deodorant.
@@livelovebeauty yeah, sadly, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Lots of people have been complaining about the switch but their not interested to switching it back it seems. I had a chance of using the old formula and it was the best deodorant I had ever tried, I have hormonal imbalance and bad b.o. thanks to that and with the old formula from native I could go 12 hours of active sweating like during summer or working out etc and still not stink for hours after. But with the new formula I cannot not stink even without sweating (staying indoors computer work etc), it only takes like 2 hours before I start to smell :(. It's a shame because the old formula was soooo good and they have great scents, the best I ever came across in deodorants. I am gonna try lume next I think, and also make my own since I am getting into making my own cosmetics more and more lately.
@@Iamam313 I actually have noticed the past couple of ones that I have purchased have not been as effective. I find myself smelling after a short period of time and I don’t feel like that happened in the past. And I have to reapply often. I love the buttercream French vanilla flavor. It’s my absolute favorite. Do you have any other suggestions on replacement products that are equally as effective?
@@livelovebeauty I emailed bramble berry because they have really good scents and I am curious if they have some scents that might be similar to the native scents so I can make my own, I could let you know what they reply and share my deo recipe with you if you want once I test it out.
I did some research and heard rave reviews for a company called “Little Seed Farm”. I just got it today. I picked up the Activated Charcoal one and am enjoying it a lot so far. You can find it on Amazon and also through their website. Amazon is easier if you have prime. GMO free, recyclable glass jar, organic ingredients. Maybe you would like this
Thank you for this wonderfully honest review! Subscribed!
Thanks for the sub! ❤

I didn't find it overpowering at all. I barely smelled it after applying. The deodorant works well for me, though.
I agree. To me it smelled like dill pickles. I don’t like it. And I actually love earthy scents. But this smelled like dill and rancid cedar.

So glad you found it so helpful. I agree with you on the feminine fragrances. I prefer those too! 😊
@@livelovebeautyThank you dear. God Bless you. I appreciate you sharing your favorite deodorant with us must try it I love vanilla also. 😊
I agree. My pits feel wet and gross. I like Lume the best.

Thank you so much!
Armpit shaving or laser hair removal? How do you remove armpit hair?🙂
I wax and I like it better than shaving! I haven’t tried laser hair but I’ve heard a lot of good things.
Good honest review
I appreciate that 💛

native hasn't been the best since they changed the recipe, P&G has ruined native...it's no longer worth the money at all
WHAT???!! P&G purchased Native?? This is really disappointing to hear. I’ll have to look for a replacement if that’s the case. Thank you for sharing.
