Hi, do you stay 4 or 5 nights in Hakuba? As you have 3 lesson days plus one arriving day and one departing day to Tokyo? Thanks
Hi @shantikosasih ! We stayed for a total of 6 days in Hakuba, we did a tour apart from the 3 days of skiing and the 2 travel days.
Hi! We're planning to go to Hakuba and glad I found your video! We're just staying for 3 days. Do you think 1 day ski school is enough to learn to glide, turn, and stop without falling and enjoy skiing? Salamat po!
Hi @lordvader1095 ! If you're a beginner like us, 3 days of ski school would be best so you can get a good grasp of the basics. Nevertheless, we think you'd enjoy the process no matter the length! Falling is definitely part of learning and fun. Excited for you for your trip!
@@MDsonHoliday thank you!. Continue your vlog...don't quit. I watch alot of vlogs. I think you have the basics figured out just work on it. 👍👍👍
@@lordvader1095 Your words mean a lot to us!! We will try our best to get back to editing. Our day jobs have consumed most of our time. Please continue to support us and stay tuned for more videos soon! Thanks again!!
By the way, with 3 days of learning, is it safe to go up the peak and ski down?
@@lordvader1095 3 days for us was just enough to get used to the skis and eventually not fall as often. We feel that 3 days is too short to conquer the peak and steep slopes.
Hi! How much was the ski rental, including the clothing, helmet, and gloves?
Hi! It was JPY 22,100 per person for 3 days. :)
@@MDsonHoliday Where did you hire gloves, goggle and helmet. When we went to one of the ski rental they said they do not rent out these items after covid.
@@TylerV-em1vn Hi! We brought our own gloves and goggles, but the helmets we had to rent from them as well.
Hi, what do you think of the hotel? We re thinking of going there in december. How easy is it from hotel to lawson or city centre? And is the free shuttle to ski resorts, right outside the hotel? Thanks again
Hi! The location of the hotel is great if you’re skiing at Happo One. There’s a free shuttle to the resort care of the hotel. It’s quite accessible to other shuttle pick up spots as well if you don’t mind a little bit of walking. From Lawson it can take up to 8-10 minutes. The hotel gives off a cabin-like vibe but may benefit from a little updating. Definitely a worthy option if you’re going to Hakuba. Excited for you to visit, come December!
@@MDsonHoliday Thank you for your update and information. We're booking it and hope its great snow in December. Cheers
@@glenadinata6374 You're most welcome!
Hi did you guys travel in December or January?
Hi! We travelled in December of last year. :)
Which ski school and how much for the lessons?
Hi @vivianz9649 ! We booked Evergreen International Ski School, and was roughly 21,000 JPY per person for a 3-day private lesson.
was this in January?
Hi @jacehezekia3346! This was in December 2023.
@@MDsonHolidaywas it mid December? Haha I’m heading there mid December this year and I’m scared that there might not be any snow 😔
@@graceleong Hi! This was a few days before Christmas. Let's manifest good, powdery snow for your upcoming trip!
@@MDsonHolidaythank you! 🙌🏼
