Greed blinds some evil murderers. In South Africa a police woman was convicted to life imprisonment for hiring hit men to kill her loved ones, including her last attempt to set her sisters house alight, with her innocent 4 kids, including her 4 month old baby!! Unfortunately for her though, she was plotting and arranging with the 'hit men,' who were undercover cops, who recorded her. She murdered her lover, 60 stab wounds, and collected the insurance money. Then she murdered her niece, then some other family members too, including her 80 year defenceless mother!! The hired hitman was a criminal she previously arrested and he went to jail. When he came out, she hired him kill her mother. She showed him her mothers house, but when he saw how old and vulnerable she was, he went to the cops and told them. That's when an undercover cop went with him, and recorded everything, and arrested her before she could murder her sister and innocent kids. Google her recent case, Nokia Rose Ndlovu...a she devil for sure.

All insurance personnel should be trained to check out all insurance claims on deceased people, and to immediately alert the police if anything suspicious shows up. Especially if the same person whose claiming insurance payouts, suspiciously has more than one of 'loved ones,' who died. The reenactment woman playing Helen is a really good actor. She's legit. The unique set up of the show to mix the real family and police investigators with professional actors works surprisingly well without any jarring obviousness in level of acting skill sets. Except here with the actor playing Helen. She does really subtle character work with her face and minimalist facial gestures where amateurs usually go broad and big. She would make a good police agent on a fictional cop show.

Life insurance is a very good thing to have. It takes the financial burden off family to have to pay for your funeral. The HUGE problem here is that you can take out a policy on anyone without them knowing and that should be illegal! Any new policy, additional policy, or adding to the amount, should require two signatures...the insured and the beneficiary. You would think, since soooo many people have been murdered for this money, they would have stricter laws.
