big one for me is being strict with the riding and only accepting the best. There's times I see excellent riders put clips into edits where it wouldn't have taken too much to clean things up, get rid of an extra hop etc. There's exceptions when maybe it's just too sketchy to try again or perhaps time runs our or a bike brakes but personally I'd hate to look back at one of my own videos (edits not vlogs) and wish I spent a bit more effort to get it better...I watch my old videos and I know that in 95% of the clips they're as good as I could've got them which not only looks good but means I have very few regrets and I enjoy watching them back.
Cheers Ali, completely agree. The persistence to get lines cleaner / so they feel right, definitely makes for a better rider / better end result 🤘 we've been putting in the work so far on the trip & are going for quality over quantity
