@@FSDRoboRides Indeed. And next version is going to massively increase its capability again! Far cry from the shit-show of my first drive so many years ago. Every turn was like a roller-coaster ride of random accelerations and steering jerks 😅
I’m glad you appreciate that extra touch! I can’t take credit for it, though-it was actually suggested by one of my earliest viewers when I asked for feedback on my early videos. It’s definitely been a hit ever since!
No specific suggestions, just keeping doing NYC FSD videos. Here in the UK we are loving them. Enjoy the functionality that I hope will be available asap in UK and Europe.
@@FSDRoboRides _Humans suck at driving_ Not true. Just look it up. Most humans drive every day for *years* without an accident. The flaky FSD software can't even go for 2 hours in a busy big city without interventions.
1:02: This lady must be a Tesla employee testing the system 😅 5:20: That didn't last long 😂 6:40: Clearly more staged testing. 8:55: Definitely shouldn't have any significant degradation yet, though the degradation is front-loaded (degrades faster at first and less over time). You can reset the measure by fully depleting and fully charging the battery. If it's a software issue, that should solve it. If it's actually a battery problem, the warranty will cover it. 11:05: Wow, that guy is the epitome of the phrase "cruisin' for a bruisin'." 12:45: That was well done. 13:04: This street sequence 😆 I swear, man, this is like a testing track where the director told all the actors to "act erratically." 304 sounds pretty good tbh, several factors could have come into play to make the number lower. There usually is a degradation of 3-8% within the first year/10k miles of ownership, and iirc the range meter is adjusting for your recent drive behavior as well. Tesla also is known to have very optimistic EPA range ratings so seeing range 10-15% less than the EPA rating is not uncommon even before degradation. Additionally as you said, it was the first time you'd charged to 100% after quite a while so there probably is some cell imbalance and/or miscalibration of the BMS. Great video!
Good that makes me feel better. Because of my current situation I only charge at supercharge. So I also want to make sure that I’m not burning up the batteries unnecessarily doing that.
You were so close. There’s a key is in the description all the way at the bottom, you are definitely on the right track. The first one is interventions. The second one is any moment where the car terrifies me. The third one is total miles of the ride and the last one is total time the ride took.
If you're parked next to a sewer, you'll smell it. But if you actually walk around the city or drive with a window open, you wouldn't make that generalization about the city of 8 million people.
I appreciate you sharing your observations and apologizing for any unintended offense. It's important to recognize that individual experiences can vary widely in a large city, and your approach to experiencing the city in different ways is a good reminder of that diversity. Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
There needs to be much much more Federal oversight and testing before Tesla should allow cybercabs to run free without drivers. 5 years minimum data and assurance of public safety is prudent.
Terrible idea. Cyber cabs can immediately be pulled from service and/or updated when issues arise. Arbitrarily freezing the tech for years while thousands die in human-error accidents does not sound wise
@@scramble111 As expected! xD FSD added approximately 700 million miles between April and June 2024. Do the math! Also do your research and invest in Tesla. Just a hint ;)

@@FSDRoboRides To me 304 over 320 doesn t sound too bad. Count a few miles of degradation, remove a few from EPA estimated range, add in some inaccuracy and we get there more or less
One of the best FSD channels. The relaxed narration is great.
Thank you very much. I appreciate your support. Best way to help get the word out about the videos you enjoy is to hit that like button.
OUTSTANDING video and narration -- these NYC FSD videos are easily your best -- they are all a 'MUST-SEE'. Keep up the great FSD videos.

A year ago I never thought it could drive like this in NYC by now. It seems to me it is really good but I'm not in the car! Great video. Thanks.

The optimistic EPA rating has changed, so it depends when he bought the car. Real-world range tests are now showing much better than EPA.
@@FSDRoboRides Data has shown no significant difference between supercharging and slow-charging, so you should be fine on that front.

It's a great concept in theory, but adopting a wait-and-see strategy might lead to several hundred preventable accident deaths.
