Wow no one's ever said anything like that about what I've said on UA-cam before. I usually get snarky mean comments and it bums me out why people can be so mean on here for. I only say this because I only ever see black people trying to understand all these white metal bands or white dudes calling themselves rappers or hiphoppers first time hearing megadeth or Metallica then a bunch more white dudes comment oh listen to this band now or that band. It's never a white metalhead trying to understand 2pac or biggie or the fugees or de-la-soul. I'm white obviously and a metal head yes but maybe I should kick it off and start asking reccomendations from black community what they reccomend I listen to for the first time. Start to kinda even the playing field persay. But I don't know I don't want to ever come off as rascist or insensitive cause I'm no better than anyone based off of color. Now based off someones character is a different story. I love everyone equally and everyone deserves respect in my eyes and heart. May sound corny and stupid and I've never said this on here before but what the hell I love you bro! And wish you great things for you and whoever is close to your heart
A good Slayer song. The video that went along with it was also good. Also check out War Ensemble, Skeletons of Society, Criminally Insane, and especially Postmortem.
Slayer was my jams in the 80s. They scared parents. They scared teachers. They were as dark as you could get until Possessed and Death came along. I saw Slayer live five times. 1992 Decade of Aggression Tour. 1996 Undisputed Attitude. The awesome 2001 Extreme Steel Tour with Pantera. 2018 Farewell Tour. 2019 Farewell Tour Final Leg
YES.... SLAYER!!!!! Definitely my favorite band. I've seen them numerous times in concert but my most epic memory is their Reign in Blood tour.... when they did Raining Blood, arena went dark, strobes light up like lightning in sync with the thunder and the sprinkler system opened up and was raining blood... well red water..... but it was absolutely epic. Largest pit I was ever in... entire floor, including the balcony section was moving, people diving off into the main pit, absolute chaos 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘😎🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✌🖤
@@ImDarin another really good band is 'Sepultura'. Check out their album 'Arise'. They are an older band from Brazil. The lead singer and drummer are brothers. They have a clean sound but, with the Latin accent, it's sometimes difficult to understand what he's saying.
I had to laugh at 2:18......that was probably MY reaction a couple decades ago when I first heard this song. Great , honest reaction video. Im 47 now, have 3 kids who are now adults, and when I want to re-boot after a long day, I listen to some Slayer. And then at least MY world seems a bit more normal.
I appreciate you and this comment a lot. I love hearing how it all started as well. I have a 1 year old who will be 2 shortly. Definitely got some more work to do for sure.
@@ImDarin It goes FAST. Kids can drive you nuts but its amazing how they TAKE NOTE on thing we do as parents. Be yourself....if you want to be better do it in front of your kids....but be yourself.....then its not A LOT of work raising your kids. Good luck man
Ayyy my man. I'm so glad you're enjoying Slayer because honestly, they're kinda like the bridge to get you into more hard-core metal genres. Highly highly highly recommend giving Gojira a listen. 3 songs for your choosing: 1) Heaviest Matter in the Universe 2) Art of Dying 3) Silvera Any one of these would make for an awesome reaction. Take it easy man, love seeing your channel grow
If you want a treat.....check out Body Count covering Slayer's song Raining Blood! Ice kills! And Slayer is insanely good live!! Seen them a couple times.
On top of all the songs everyone has suggested, check out, Behind the Crooked Cross. Such a groovy, yet, lyrically powerful song. The fan made video of WW2 footage fits perfectly.
The thing is that people for years thought metal was just noise. It's refreshing that younger people are starting to embrace metal. I'm in my 50's so I assume reaction channels are younger than me. :)
