Meg has plenty of stickability guys - she just needs some super-glue spread on her bum-in-the-saddle on XCountry day!!
So glad you kept her, rather than selling, and bred her before training. Too many great mares do not get a chance to reproduce. You are developing great ponies and founding a lovely homebred breeding program.
I loved it when you inserted the “at home” exercise that you used to improve your stadium jumping performances. Love to see more of that, whenever the footage is available.
Also, I’d love to see a bit more of your dressage exercises at home (for example, to improve Jam’s halt) because your dressage tests are generally very solid, regardless of which horse you’re on, and I would love to see how you achieve those uniform results with different horses. Obviously, you put a lot of thought into what you do.

I really loved this style of video! It's sometimes easy to forget when you're just messing around doing silly videos (which are also really fun, don't stop doing them) how knowledgeable you are about your sport and how good a rider you actually are, so it's really nice to see you be able to flex a little!

The little nod she gave when you came to a halt at Wychwood was so cute. Right when you saluted she gave a little nod. Such a brilliant baby, so in love with all of your ponies but Jammy has a special place in my heart ❤️.

When I first subscribed, like, forever ago, I actually didn't like Jam. But just like you she has BLOSSOMED in the last 2 years. Now I look forward to seeing you take Jam out just to see how much more she'll progress from the last event. You've both worked hard and you should both be proud
loved this style, I love your other style as well but this one seemed very "let's hang out and chat" and I love seeing and doing videos like that.

A really nice change, your videos are always entertaining, these two had a different vibe in a good way, it was like meeting Meg 2.0 and really getting to appreciate your journey and share key moments but also hearing how experienced you are, whilst watching and learning how everything doesn't always go to plan but already being ontop of how to put things back on track, you need to be critical to develop and excel but please give yourself some praise and listen to how talented and gifted you are, not just at making entertaining content but at being such a kind professional horsewomen, I'm looking forward to sharing your 2022 adventures with all the ponies

jam looks amazing. i started watching you in 2020 right after the start of lockdown in march/april when she was at the 80 level and the up-and-coming eventer of your barn! the way she jumps now, especially during cross country, makes her look like a proper sport horse! i can't wait to see how this season goes, but don't feel any pressure for results (at least from us)! i just love watching the whole process

Her buddy (who is 3 weeks younger) and her are absolutely insane at the moment! And she’s getting bigger and bigger (15.1 at the moment!) so when she’s doing the popcorn on the leash is not a fun moment!
Before covid, An Eventful Life used to come to New Zealand, and film at a Three Day Event in December.

I am glad you realise that you are not going for your stride and once you get into that stride pattern in complex fences there is no excuse to not ride it. That horse is a rocket machine and so honest so there is only one person to blame for time faults. You sit so well, you ride a fence really well, and that shot I have seen over the broken bridge is wonderful, you saw it, sat and drove it. Fabulous. More of that Girl.

I found that too - the "celts" (you have Welsh and Connemara's - I had welsh and Irish Draughts) need their hand holding but once they gain experience and confidence they're all like "I Got This" and "Just Hold Tight" - I see so much of my own top mare in Jam and how they went and developed 😅🥰😇🦄 They give so much back (especially the mares) - they've definitely got your back, especially over those bigger tracks ♥💖

Great videos and you both have come such a long way. I was just thinking you should have someone paint a little mural of your events in the stall wall where the white is that would be so neat to see little cross country paintings of all the places you have evented
