Loved Willie on Eight is Enough, and loved him on Charles in Charge! Great interview! Eight is probably my favorite show ever. I think about how things turned out for Adam Rich, and for Lani O'Grady, and to some extent Susan Richardson, also. So glad Willie was able to make it through to the other side! ❤
Willie is delightful. He had some hard times and really seems to have come out of that with such a great attitude. Good to see and hear that. I look forward to hopefully seeing more of him in the future because he seems like a super guy.
When I was a kid what I wanted to be more than anything in the world was to be a Bradford kid, their family just seemed so loving and warm, a beautiful home with beautiful people - but then it would have to be Nine is Enough
Grew up on 8 is enough and "Tommy" was the one I identified with. Willie is such a fine actor .so natural. I know he's been thru some rough times and I'm so happy to see he's well. Seems like such a good guy. Thanks Jonathan and Moosie!
Love that interview, thank you! Willie has always been one of my favorites. I remember him on Little House on the Prairie also. He did so many things. Would’ve been interesting to hear his experiences on The Edge of Night. He played a sleazy character named Robbie Hamlin. Also loved the Eight Is Enough reunion specials. I remember them being highly-rated, but was bummed they didn't make any more. Thanks again.
Terrific you got to ask him about ZAPPED! since it is my favourite teen comedy of the 80s (I goit to chat with said film´producer but still have not beeing able to track that film´s directorr down). You are always respectful about their work and that is really appreciated to nosalgia-infused fellas from all over the world).
FWIW the actor who originally played Tommy Bradford was Chris English. He never appeared in anything again on television or film. Mark Hamill originally played the part of David Bradford.
Hi. Just seeing this for the first time. I’m sorry to hear that was your experience. Of course I have no idea what happened. I do know that everyone has a bad day, we’re human. Perhaps, that was the case. I’ve often thought that in my life about someone and later on realized how wonderful they really were. I hope you get another encounter with Willie. I’m not just saying this, but I know him as an incredibly kind and lovely man. Thanks for watching. Have a fantastic day! Best, Moosie Drier
Does he mention Swiss Family Robinson (1975) in this? I am not interested in watching the whole 90 minutes. No disrespect to Aames, I just don't have time to watch it all. If he mentioned Swiss Family Robinson please supply the starting point in the video. Thanks.

Was definitely a lot of fun! :)
@@PopCultureRetro Why didn't you ask Willie about his relationship with and thoughts on Adam Rich? I waited and waited but you never got around to it.
Should've asked. Hopefully, we can have Willie back to discuss.

He had sooo many great credits that we couldn't get to. Hopefully, another time. :)

Had the misfortune of “meeting” Ames back in the 80s when he had some gig as a Christian superhero. One of the rudest people I have ever met.
