Thanks David!!! I feel that the Algarve is a very unknown place to many Americans. Prior to going, we didn’t really know too much about it. It should be on everyone’s radar.
Thank you for all your videos about my country, loved them all. Next time you return to Portugal, and i hope you do, you must go to the Alentejo, no beaches, in the border with Spain but so so so beautiful!
Thank you Maria. Glad you enjoyed the videos and thanks for tuning in. We will definitely check out Alentejo next time. Still want to get to Porto as well. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful place!!
1:42 - I don't know where you got that idea from but the Sagres beer is not made in Sagres, it's made in Vialonga, a parish of Vila Franca de Xira city, near Lisbon. 😉 2:30 - The westernmost point of mainland Europe is Cabo da Roca, near Sintra. Cabo de S. Vicente is the southwesternmost point of mainland Europe.
Wow. You are definitely right about that. I watched another film before we went there and someone said that beer was from there, which made sense to me. And yes I knew about the SW point and not Western point. Not sure why I said that when I did. Thanks for pointing those out.
Great video of the Algarve. My wife and I are planning to stay in Portimao on our trip to Portugal. We are planning to make a stop in Silves. Thanks to you guys. By the way the meal you had was Carne de Porco de Alentejana. Well known dish in the Portuguese community. One of my favorites!! Thanks again for such a great video
Appreciate the kind words Lenny and thanks for tuning in!! Glad our video was helpful and thank you for the food description….sometimes the small and simple places are the most memorable. Enjoy your trip to the Algarve!
Yes we did take a stroller to Portugal. It was one that folded up so we could gate check it at the airport. There’s a lot of models out there. But we really did t use it in Lisbon because of the streets. Just in Algarve.
Someone already mentioned that. I heard someone else in another video mention it and just assumed it was true. Thanks for pointing it out. I’m going to have to try and edit that part out.
Wonderful video! I need to visit the Algarve very soon!

Tavira is the most beautiful town in Algarve
We loved Tavira. Wish we could have spent more time there.

I’m curious, did you guys take a stroller to Portugal? If not, is there a travel stroller you think could handle the streets in Portugal?
