I can recommend this laptop as being a great overall package (with the AMD 3500U) but it isn't as capable as the OG Apple or the premium PC options due to the choice to limit RAM to a single 8gig.. It's the nicest laptop I've ever owned, by far. Huawei surprised me. It's as grunty as my older i7 gaming laptop but runs out of RAM when I treat it like a desktop replacement...
Well my screws are stucked on CPU so I can't remove heatsink to change the thermal paste. I cleaned the fans and closed it unfortunate :/. Can't apply force much nor have access to screw extractors. Will try the methods when laptop is free next time lets hope I can change the paste.
The thing beside the battery is the SSD..so what is the thing above the battery? If the SSD is removable, does that means it can be upgraded to larger storage?

Thing above the battery is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.
So I guess I could setup a external usb-c drive with a portable windows, and exchange the M2SSD with a M.2 PCIe x4 to eGPU adapter and add a gpu to this system right
I thought I cant put sata hdd to this small laptop, but thank you for clearing this up! I love this laptop keyboard and design, but I guess I stick to Lenovo Legion with ssd+hdd then :)

After reconnecting the battery when i tried to turn it on the keyboard light turned on for a couple of seconds than turned off and the laptop wouldn't boot. After troubleshooting for awhile i got frustrated and left it alone and when i tried to boot it again after 15-20 minutes it turned on fine. Recently I had to disassemble it again for thermal paste change and now I'm facing the same problem again. Can someone please tell me if there is a specific procedure to bootup after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, i can't seem to figure it out.
I have a Huawei Matebook 13 wrtb-wfh9l - and in need to replace a FAN and Battery. Is it compatible with nay other version of Huawei matebook 13 2020 if I buy the parts?

Most definitely, you see the stick to the left of the battery wrapped up like a piece of gum? That's going to be your M.2 SSD. Currently, in Germany (I'm not sure about other locations), you can buy the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB on sale at 54% off; it's one of the fastest you can come across, leading to me buying another one and watching this video for disassembly procedures. Currently the stock SSD is about 250gb on mine so it's needed to upgrade unless I want to carry the Type-C adapter and an external hard drive everywhere I go. Sad thing is, is that it looks like the SSD is the only thing that can be upgraded easily in this

SSD'yi değiştirmeden format atınca bile gider o. SSD değiştirmemin ana nedeni macOS kullanmaktı. Wi-Fi kartı değişiyor mu bilmiyorum zira Intel'in bir protokolünü kullanıyordu soket, Intel harici kart takılamıyor, soket uyumlu olsa da. Ama Intel kart takılabilir belki. YES, i have model 2019 , is deliciuos, you can reemplace thermal paste and nvme, i suposse you can use egpu with nvme but dont have other plug data in this device..hehhe

same, integrated graphics and cpu run smooth, 250gb of storage is little but can be upgrated, the ram tho is a pain in the ass
How about noise on this laptop? Fans going crazy on lighter task or charging?
