Nice video. I appreciate that it's just the facts. As an FYI, on my 2012 TSX Wagon, the screw in the "Not an Ashtray" is underneath the flocked insert. The insert is in there tighter than snot, and needs to be pulled straight out to access that screw. I carefully used a sharp wood chisel to get under the edge and pry.
That's an excellent video. Thank you for showing everything very clearly. This video is a great example of what all these videos should look like. Super helpful
Very detailed video but you didn't talk about the alternate ways to get the codes if you don't have the owner's manual at the end like you said earlier in the vid. Just curious if you can add that?
The receiver doesn't have an amplifier. Its outputs are low level so you won't find speaker wires at the receiver. Perhaps an aftermarket wiring harness adapter is what you need.
I just came across your video. I have 2010 Acura tsx without the technology package, so no navigation. I wanted to change the radio screen to the technology package screen. I was wondering if that was possible? I don’t need the navigation to work. I just wanted the better screen
No need to do that. Just replace your stereo with a aftermarket headunit. I have the tech package and its outdated as shit. I had to buy the smaller screen and soon i will place it in place of the nav screen. New headunit will go at the bottom
it's all one piece. But the vents can be replaced from the inside. There aftermarket trims built with vents to install an additional screen for a different radio control section.
I want to replace the dvd with a cubby and add an CarPlay screen on the radio above the climate control do you think there will be any problems with the car or the reverse camera or bluetooth
I really don't know. All I can point out to you is that when your car has issues like check engine light. The codes get displayed and it tells you what's wrong. So if you pull the OEM display your pulling the programed ecu. With that being said the rest of the items should work fine as long as you wire everything appropriately. If you choose to perform this modification please don't cheap out on the kit you want to install. If you go cheap you will have problems. The other thing I need to point out is that I'm not sure what's responsible for your security system. Meaning if it'd the display or the ca changer. Do research before you cut wires!
@@decemberkxng9987 Im not don't have 100% for that, in my opinion it should be possible. but you will need to make a customer braket to hold it in place. And you might need to fabricate a few new connectors depending on how your screen is build. Definitely wont be a plug and play deal.
If it was working before you went in there means you didn't connect something properly. Re do everything you did the first time. But don't rush and check every connector and pins. Make sure nothing is bent or broke. Also Check play in connector pins.

Was hoping to see you remove the display as well... Can't seem to find that anywhere

I called Acura Customer service and they helped me get the code, since I don't have the manual.
How about the LCD/Nav screen ? Can I just use panel poppers to hopefully to remove? The screen has failed.
Hi

Wanting to find speaker wires to connect Aftermarket headunit etc.

Thanks for your video, can i install bluetooth or usb for this head unit?
Thanks for this video bro. I got Accord 8th gen CU1, but it looks exactly the same like your TSX. Gonna try this out soon.
Can do a video how to swap dash light bulbs please!?
I can’t find my Bluetooth I think it’s draining my battery it’s a 2nd generation and I don’t see it on the passenger side.
Is this similar to a 2010 acura tl non tech package? I'm trying like hell to find something to study. I want to upgrade so bad but I'm on the fence.
What are you trying to do? It's alittle different in parts but everything works the same. It's honda It's simple.
Does this plastic section of the vents separate or is that like all one piece of plastic with the radio

Are you going to replace it with an after market one?
No.
Can the nav screen above be removed? and replace with the ac display screen?
