Even the Yankee fans have to admit that the interference double in game one was Karma payback for the Jeffrey Maier interference call in that infamous game at Yankee Stadium back in 1996 against the Orioles.
I talked to ALL the Yankees last night after their loss. EACH player wanted a ten billion dollar contract EACH year for ten years... and then they would win the WS.
Judge has to be better is right. That lineup isn't even half as scary when he's swinging at everything and not making contact. He's created a big hole in the batting order, but I expect at home it may change.
it was bad decision to walk the dodger guy to load the bases up and let the next guy hit walk off grand slam. it was 1st and 2nd you're up 1. so if the guy you were going to walk hits a basehit then its just tied and if you can get next out, you have chance to play next inning. but you load the bases all the guy has to do is hit a basehit and 2 will score and win.
You can't win games, let alone the world series when your team can't hit with RISP! The Yankees load the bases and cannot hit. They are their own worst enemy.
9th inning made it close but there really wasn't much to it... Idk why LA pitched to Stanton with first base open, Chisholm had an incredible at bat vs Trienen, Rizzo was praying for a high inside pitch that he could lean into, and after that they ran out of tricks lol When they have to rely on hits from guys not named Soto or Stanton they just lose.
They say a series doesn’t start till the road team gets a win .. I think it’s just the opposite in THIS case . A Dodger win tonight or tomorrow night will basically seal the chip. Yanks haven’t been all that good at home

Naw, I've seen my Dodgers blow a 2-0 lead to the Gdamn Yankees in 1978. The steal attempt was just plain stupid. It was unnessary at the time, and at the time when the announcers (who are obviously Yankee homers), talked about it, my gut was saying "Don't do it!".
"It's not over until the final out is recorded." I've said this before and of course it's true. The mental component is very important. From the Yankees perspective, it all depends on how badly they want to win the World Series and in making the right moves. Not bringing in their good relief pitcher at the end of game one was a wrong move and a bad choice. The Yankee manager takes the blame for this wrong move. The Yankees have to change...strong pitching snd clutch hitting are necessary if they are going to nake a comeback. The Dodgers are a very good team. The Yankees are going to have to do a lot better (much, much better) than they have been doing in the first two games if they are going to even have a chance of winning the World Series.
@@loualbino5536 You're right. Everything has to "fire on all cylinders" for the Yankees if they're going to stand a chance this year ( great hitting, pitching, defense,etc.). It doesn't look good at this point in time, though, especially with their superstar outfielder (Judge) going from a modern day Babe Ruth (during the regular season) to an automatic out (in the World Series). It seems that the only way the Yankees can beat the Dodgers is if the Dodgers beat themselves (self-destruct) with carelessness and mental mistakes, which might have happened when Ohtani was (supposedly) injured while trying to steal second base. If he is injured (because of that play) and therefore cannot play again for the rest of the World Series, he should get the "moron of the year" award.

Career ending? Relax. Dave Roberts said he had full stretch and good range of motion in his shoulder.
He's fine lol Dislocated shoulder it seems. Mans good.
Its definitely not career ending, and given the stage, I would say he is likely to come back. It was only a subluxation, not a full dislocation, and like somebody else said, he had good strength and ROM after the game/injury.
His injury doesn’t even seem to be series ending, don’t worry about career. He’s looking 60/40 to be in the lineup Monday as of now.
Roberts said no guarantees for Monday but Ohtani will be back in this series
I'm not worried about possibly losing ohtani. There's betts, freddie, edman, los dos Hernandez's, Smith, Muncy, etc...
Ohtani is one of the greats of all time . But baseball is a team game . The Dodgers have already proven they are winners without Ohtani hitting home runs and stealing bases everytime he was at bat during the playoffs and world series .
Buehler has a 6.0 ERA. That hurts. Dude was lights out before injuries.
When Ohtani's left hand first touched the ground with his arm straight, it put undue stress on his shoulder as he's trying to slow down by pushing down.
Jose Trevino like F this shit. I ain’t getting enough playing time 😂
Aaron Fudge
i think he was replaced by eric sim. 😂
@@yoobro9579Eric sim’s swing is atrocious to look at since it keeps having him lose his footing
@@yoobro9579 I’d rather have Eric Sim in the 3 hole instead of Judge.
Monkey Butts
Man... rondon gives out the Homer like Halloween candy... no blister necessary
Kate Smith is laughing:"Take away my God Bless America,eh?"
Judge 1-9 with 6 Ks is glorious. And in 2 games in which you pitched well enough to win.
NY with backs to the wall - must win game on Monday. Nice summary, Gomer. 👍🏼
This is where dodgers pitching relying on the bullpen see if they can keep up 0s on the scoreboard I’m curious how it’s shakes out in NY
99, Volpe and Wells painful to watch. Some guys shine in spotlight, some wilt. LAD have former, we have latter.
Yankees are in a bad spot. They have to win two out of three in New York or it’s pretty much over. Will have to see if Ohtani is available for Game 3 Monday night.
The look on Rodon's face after the Freeman bomb, he looked as though he shit his pants
All postseason, Padres, Mets and now Yankees, nothing but excuses about how they aren’t playing well enough or how they could be better.
Maybe the Dodgers (the best team in baseball) are just better?
Also, Dodgers can beat this Yankees team without Ohtani.
The dodgers spend money on top players the Yankees has the highest payroll and don’t spend money on top players cause they have a cheap owner
@@Frankieefootballmundialspend money on top players 😂 the NLCS mvp?
@@sirpassesten that’s the truth how the got freeman ,Yamamoto and Ohtani without them they are not a championship team
Dodgers fans act like they’re not paying someone 700m
Highest payroll doesn’t automatically win World Series. It’s just a fact.
To be fair those were some nasty pitches from Yamamoto. Baseball is a game that is all about how to manage failure. Ohtani hasn't done much in the first two games either.
They pay him how many millions I think 700m for the life of his contract so yeah , he must perform.
Judge’s contract needs to be renegotiated now that it has been determined that he cannot even hit a beach ball during the post season
A lot of rag talk like always. Yankee fans are a bunch of cry babies.
@@copp214 Which team do you root for sir?
@@ginger_breadman First of all, I am a woman.
Two seasons ago, I started to like the Yankees because I started to enjoy their games. I still don't call myself a Yankees fan, but I am getting there. I don't feel a need to bash them when they are not at their best. Yes, it is disappointing to see them slumping, especially during the WS. I hope they get their hit on and beat the snot out of the Dodgers. I want to cheer them, not put them down. Have a great day.
@@copp214 thanks mam … I have to alert you that it is tough being a Yankees fan. They don’t win championships anymore and I don’t think this season will be any different. The Dodgers will probably sweep them too 😭
@@ginger_breadman Tonight is going to look like the determining factor. I am watching the game. I understand that the love one may feel for a team can be bittersweet.
I would like to see a better bullpen and consistent hitting from them.
I understand it can be very disappointing to watch them lose to the Dodgers. They need to turn it around tonight. It has been a long time since they have won a WS. Even if they lose, I will still like them and watch their games.
With or without Ohtani that dodger bat lineup is crazy for any pitcher.
Even the Yankee fans have to admit that the interference double in game one was Karma payback for the Jeffrey Maier interference call in that infamous game at Yankee Stadium back in 1996 against the Orioles.
Great first two games!!
I talked to ALL the Yankees last night after their loss. EACH player wanted a ten billion dollar contract EACH year for ten years... and then they would win the WS.
Wait till Juan Soto's bat cools in game 3. Let's not forget how Mr Soto performed against the Dodgers when he was on the Padres versus Walker Buehler.
Judge will swing at anything on strike 2, it's been like that his whole career
Tbf, the dodgers have been dealing with this for years. Yankees are playing against them now when they shake the yips 😂
The Yankees are just the laziest entitled team. The Dodgers work for their money
They are not like the 90s Yankees . They hustled , the Mets hustle more . Hate to agree but yes it’s true . And management is bad too . Low morale
Moneyball.
Nem Ohtani, nem Judge, os coadjuvantes vão levar ao título. Nesse quesito, o Dodge está sobrando!!
Judge has to be better is right. That lineup isn't even half as scary when he's swinging at everything and not making contact. He's created a big hole in the batting order, but I expect at home it may change.
Yankees look like they are throwing the Series.
To throw a series you have to be good enough to win It
Nope, just a good old-fashioned tale whipping
It’s called LA pitching… and a team that feels it’s their destiny vs a team who think they’re good because they beat CLE.
Aaron Boone is the reason the yankees will lose this series
Some one call the cops ..judge is missing😂
he got swapped with eric sim.
it was bad decision to walk the dodger guy to load the bases up and let the next guy hit walk off grand slam. it was 1st and 2nd you're up 1. so if the guy you were going to walk hits a basehit then its just tied and if you can get next out, you have chance to play next inning. but you load the bases all the guy has to do is hit a basehit and 2 will score and win.
Really good hitting can overcome great pitching. Bottom of the order is so weak. We miss Pettitt, Rivera, Clemons, Larson, Rhigetti.
Game 5 said hold my beer
You can't win games, let alone the world series when your team can't hit with RISP! The Yankees load the bases and cannot hit. They are their own worst enemy.
What's up with Aaron Judge not being able to hit an offspeed pitch. literally the exact opposite of me in little league.
Your little league experience ❤😂
MLB. America's 2nd favorite soap opera
Dodgers have the deeper batting order
They say a series doesn’t start till the road team gets a win .. I think it’s just the opposite in THIS case . A Dodger win tonight or tomorrow night will basically seal the chip. Yanks haven’t been all that good at home
judge really is just Barry bonds subtracting the roids he has no aura basically an auto out every time
Even without the roids Barry put the bat on ball ⚾️
@@dizzahscrapz5411 not to mention he hit 4 homers in that 2002 WS but that’s besides the point judge is having a historically awful career in October he better turn it around or he will be remembered as an ALL-TIME October slump player
@@ACE_1923 Bonds was already on steroids by 2002.
The Yankees will never learn ,they build their team for the long ball which is fine during the regular season, but in the playoffs you aren't going to face any bad pitching, the inability to manufacture runs always bites them hard
It's a seven game series boys so clam down. You you forget Yankees up 3-0 on the red sox? Anything can happen so stop with all the crying ....
Aaron judge is gonna be like kershaw.Vanishing in oct
The NL champion is a battle tested monster this year. The Yankees are not built for a title this year.
Dope would have been a better word to use than moron...I was in a lousy mood at the time...whatever.
My fiance knew I wasnt showing up to our wedding when I sent her a photo of Judge.
hopefully otani's injury isn't to serious
This is over before they even get back to NY. I'm a Yankee fan but I'm not watching anymore of this misery 🤦
