Since 1996, dedicated volunteer musicians have been creating beautiful harmonies, showcasing the diverse talents of adults with a passion for playing music. Whether you're a seasoned musician or just dusting off your instrument, the band offers a warm and welcoming community.

The Penfield Pops Community Band welcomes Allison Chipman. A proud Rochester native, Allison brings her extensive musical expertise to our ensemble. She currently teaches at Churchville-Chili Senior High School, where she directs the award-winning Churchville-Chili Wind Ensemble. Allison holds a Master's degree in Music Education from Syracuse University and another in Wind Conducting from the University of Southern Maine. She has over ten years of experience teaching. Her passion for music education is palpable, and she's excited to guide and nurture our band's growth.
