Has anyone told you this story in the comments? When BTS was playing in Vegas, V went out on his own to a jazz club and later posted proof of himself dancing in the middle of a bunch of slow-dancing older ladies and gentlemen. It was an especially V moment. We were all happy for him.
V has always loved traditional Jazz
There are certain BTS songs where his voice is really really low like in Sea and Don't Leave Me and DNA but in general his lower voice doesn't come out that much in bts songs bc the songs are quite high pitched. It puts Tae in a tougher position vocally but he is doing amazing. I am just curious to hear what sort of music he will make with his lower voice.

John Eun is on guitar. He's collaborated with RM as well, most recently on the song Forg_tful and No.2 from Indigo.
The young woman singing with V is Minna Seo. She's only 20 but making a career as a vocalist specializing in jazz.

I'm really looking forward to Tae's solo album. I hope he utilizes his beautiful baritone a bit more. It's just so soothing listening to him.
Oh yeah, V has a deep voice! He has to sing outside his comfort in a lot of bts songs. He has the widest range due to that. In the older bts songs, he was usually given the deeper lines that only he would sing. All the other vocalists are tenors whereas he is not. Also he loves Jazz. There’s rumours he and lady gaga might collab. They’re just rumours though. He shared a picture with her very recently and they met at the 2022 Grammys
V has said his favorite singer is Bing Crosby. He loves Jazz. While in the US, while some other members went to a stadium concert, he went to a small Jazz club.

V is a classy beautiful vocalist, with style & grace! I love it 💫✨💫
The great thing about Tae is that he has many many layers and a lot of versatility… when you think you are starting to know him, Bam new layer unlocked, sometimes contradictory to what you thought. I love that he is unapologetically his glorious unique authentic and artistic self. He’s very sincere in his likes and hobbies etc. Also he has fan girls and fanboys galore of all ages, ethnicities and sexualities, genders etc because of his duality and different people find different things appealing in him (he himself has said he finds it interesting how the looks he wears are interpreted )… but the thing I love most about your relationship with Tae (I honestly find it amusing in a good way… to me personally it seems that you don’t quite get him and his personality yet and don’t know what to make of him and that he leaves you quite perplexed, I could be wrong but that’s the impression I get) all I can say is you need to keep an open mind and watch a lot more content but he’s defo someone with a heart of gold and a sense of humour. In regards to the fashion… I guess it depends how you look at it and I guess you are looking at it from if you would wear the outfits etc… which is defo a valid way of looking at it and amusing but I’m not sure would be the correct angle for Tae (even though it’s fun to hear your take) because he wears gender neutral clothes a lot esp in his performance outfits which can be quite glam and eye catching (aside from his grandparent chic classic choices)… so the majority of it I couldn’t see you ever wearing it as you strike me as someone who goes with the general accepted rules of gender when it comes to clothes etc. In general though Tae is considered along with Hobi as the most fashionable member by neutrals, gen public and fashion magazines… he’s got the nickname ‘Icon of an Era’ and ‘genre called V’ by Vogue Korea, ‘Genre Destroyer’ by Elle Korea… and been picked as best dressed by British and American vogue numerous times and many other magazines etc… but I think fashion is also subjective and individuals see it differently which I think is a good thing… in terms of his trousers they are 30’s cut so would fit the time and era of the music. ‘Cheek to cheek’ is from the 30’s and the first song from the 50’s. I studied fashion & makeup (amongst other things) so I personally love his playfulness with his fashion and looks and I think why they appeal to me… and why I really enjoyed this reaction, thank you and I hope you keep sharing your unfiltered thoughts etc. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
What a beautifully diplomatic comment. Well done. You are an excellent example of true ARMY. Tae is definitely a fashion icon, and I do think his first number’s apparel was in keeping with the era of the 30s-40s, just updated for the 21st century. He looks absolutely stunning. Tae looks outstanding no matter what he wears. He’s in a class of his own and, of course, my Ultimate Bias. I’m also a jazz lover - can’t wait for what’s next.

I do seldom comment, but I can’t control not to…everything you said about Tae’s artistry and his passion about music, his classy style of fashion etc are all facts. He’s an old soul and by saying that, I remembered when he was in Las Vegas he went to this pub where old people go and he was there to enjoy the vibe and the people. Nowadays, you rarely see young people like Tae to go to such places where only old people go. He’s very unique in every ways, and that’s what I love about him. Personality wise, I salute him for being him, no sugarcoating just plain truth. You gonna either hate or love him for that, but ofc the latter one is always my choice, period!
V is a huge jazz fan, he played Saxophone and recently learned to play the trumpet and he's pretty good at it. His colour is melancholic but in the best way possible, he's in his element here ♪
I think Tae really loves Jazz since the beginning coz even before being BTS he have been taking lessons or doing saxophone… and the Jazz vibes really screams V… 😊

I never thought about it, but if Prince were around he would probably really like BTS. He was so into artistry and musicians who really respect the craft and put in the work. He's probably be into the wild ass outfits Tae does forreal. Prince used to wear things that didn't make any sense but it was Prince so we had no choice but to go crazy for him no matter what he wore.
I’m honestly so excited for what he’s gonna do in his solo project; I love all their solos, but V’s songs are the ones I find myself randomly listening to the most, I’m most drawn to calm/melodic/introspective vibes in music, which he also loves. (We’re both INFP from that Myers-Briggs test)
BTS songs are generally very high in pitch (because of jin and jimin I suspect 😅) and because V has a big range he often sings more in the tenor range for group songs, so it’ll be great to see him build more on his baritone.

V looks incredible in that outfit from my eyes 😂 but everyone's taste in fashion is different. Then again, I'm very biased (literally) and I think he looks good in anything he wears 😂 I love this tone of Tae's voice so much, I hope he will use it a lot on his album 🥹

FYI, his fashion has changed since he discovered a skin disorder. He cannot wear, tight fitting clothes anymore so he has gone for a quirky retro look. However, if you checked out his Elle covers, his outfit at the Celine fashion show you’ll see different looks. By the way, you haven’t heard his solo Singularity, one of the most iconic bts songs where he sings in his lower register.

Yes unfortunately, V's lower register is very sadly underutilized in BTS songs. Not sure why as I'm not a musician. Would think that it would bring a lot of depth and contrast if they gave him that part of the spectrum more. Isn't it usually more melodic the larger the contrasting range?
Pop music prefers Tenors. That's why his register is more used in the ballads and rnb songs.
