Was that the ST240 crash that needed an Air Ambulance? I hadn't heard about that Was an overall really destructive weekend though. I know this BRSCC package has a serious reputation for the amount of damage it generates, but it got ridiculous this past weekend
@@davemurphy9468 It was on the livestream during their second race after the first restart, about lap 3 or 4 at The Loop. Not on this footage, but assuming it's the one referred to in the description. At least two cars came together, one into the barrier heavily and the other went over 3/4 times. I saw the remains of it in the paddock, and it was the worst damaged car I've seen since the crash in CMMCS at Brands GTWC earlier this year
@@stevenbryant2993 If you look closely on the livestream, the incident is actually captured! The first camera shot within the loop shows Clark putting his nose up the inside of Hayden, just before the kink left. The next camera angle on the main straight, if you look at the top left of screen, you can see the cars come into view, Hayden just starting his multiple rolls, and Clark hammering the concrete wall, which was one of the main reasons for the lengthy red flag, as they had to get a replacement wall! Lucas Hayden was seemingly remarkably not too injured at all! Timestamp on the livestream - 2:25:35 The other big crash, just before the loop was Dan Lewis and May coming together. I’m not sure on how it started, but it ended with Lewis going hard into Mays driver side door, which is when the 3 ambulances showed up, amongst other things.
So many accidents over the weekend. I don't know whether its that layout at Silverstone or drivers just leaving their brains in the paddock. As a racer myself I don't tune in for the accidents and found it very frustrating to watch.
Absolutely ridiculous amounts of damage for club racing!!! Makes me feel lucky to be in a series with more experienced, refined and less hot-heads!! Conditions didn't help but more caution on the limit even if it costs handfuls of places has to be done for the longevity of the series/championship and your own personal running costs.
Id agrre with the comments regarding the brscc race championships, all a bit of a crashfest , i understand that 1 make or model racing is going to be close , however there seems a hell of a lot of contact in almost every race, not good for the wallet , sooner or later it will deter people to race their cars
Octagon tried that a few years ago, wanted to charge everybody anywhere from a grand to ten grand to be able to film or take photos/report on events, tried to implement a search on entry for anybody with cameras and had signs up saying they would size cameras of spectators filming, bear in mind this was the early naughties so a grand was a lot of money back then. The policy lasted a few months at most because a few of us threatened to sue and the likes of Motorsport News and Autosport stopped sending their reporters and photographers to events and stopped reporting on them.
Idiotic opinion from whoever was commentating because if they think anyone is making millions over a 20 mins highlight reel of racing then they have another thing coming What vids like this end up being is free publicity for the track and series and probably end up getting way more viewers than a 8 hour live stream that accidentally misses all the action it isn't trying to deliberately censor. I honestly think people like him or Paul o Neil have driving standards rants every time there's a slight scrape on track shouldn't be watching Motorsport if they can't deal with the risk factor Plenty of safety in a chess match, maybe they'd be more suited to that instead.
Looks like a chaotic weekend of racing 🤣 I love the Minis, nice video!
awesome video
Good vid again! Mini's looked entertaining again 😅

I don't think they showed that one.

What was on that corner?!
That'll be the oil the UA-camrs put on the circuit the night before....😂
Guy on the commentary for BRSCC livestream event said that people like you need to be banned apparently!

Any chance of timestamping when this was made pls?
