Cant wait to see God continue to raise her up, sharing His heart and what the Holy Spirit has to say to the Church ! ! ! My new "AHA, go to video" when my day has been rough!
I have to say this in parts because it would not let me post altogehter, Jackie I saw this video on facebook and I would like to share my response to watching your video. I believe you are sincere, and you honestly believe and mean all the things you are saying that is why I am even more compelled to share these things with you...those who have ears to hear let them hear.
This is a powerful poem! Many times we misunderstand the meaning of the church because of bad experiences. It is refreshing for someone to help us remember that Jesus died for the church and we are the bride He is returning for. I love all of the passionate commenters but some of you are CLEARLY misinterpreting her words. She wasn't trying to say to remain in sin. Her point is that the church was there to love Her and reflect God's love until she truly understood.
God is not the shepherd of sinners but of sinless believers by the power of God, he did not fill the pews with filth, but by his blood he has cleansed us from all unrighteousness and ALL sin...Satan is the father of sinners for it is he that sinned from the beginning
But, if you have learned, understood, and are capable of fulfilling the laws, you should. Where you fall short, God's grace makes up the difference. This is how we experience "When I am weak, then I am strong," because when we are about to faint under the trial, then we feel God's mercy take over and give us strength. "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (rom.6.1-2)"
Mat.5.17 ""Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose." Don't misunderstand the sacrifice. Jesus didn't come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. The law foreshadowed His sacrifice. The crucifixion didn't revoke the Law of Moses. It still stands and so do the promises attached to those who take care to follow it, though we may never be capable of following it perfectly.
It is baptism in which we are saved and lastly, you must receive the gift of the HOly Ghost( as in ask for it, Jesus says that if we ask the Lord will give us his holy Spirit) we cannot just assume we have it, and Romans 8:9 says if we do not have HIS spirit inside of us we are known of his. You cannot receive him in your life, but Jesus says unless a person deny their life and follows him they are not worthy to be his disciple.
Jackie continued to go to church living in sin, because the church made her think she could, they did not tell her, this is how we know the children of the devil and the children of God because those who are born of God do not commit sin. Neither did they tell her that Jesus came to take away our sin and whosoever sins have neither known him nor seen him
Instead they told her that she should bring tithes and offerings to church when Jesus is the end of the law for righteousness meaning anyone who does any part of the law, which tithing is to be right with God makes Jesus of non effect to them, Knowing this they still enforce these religious laws that has been nailed on the cross and disanualled by the power and the will of God
This is a perfect example of a person who has a zeal for righteousness but lacks the knowledge of the truth and that is the direct result of the liars of the pulpit. They lied to her about salvation you cannot receive Jesus in your heart or except him in your life, but scriptures says, you must repent(turn from all sin) saying everyone who names the name of Christ depart from sin, you must be baptized, as in water baptism( Jesus said those that believe and are baptized shall be saved
That Wasn't a Poem to Me That Was a Sermon! She Preached That Thing! Hallelujah!
