Nice example of the FREQUENCY formula in use. Could make things a little more dynamic with the data set in an Excel table to avoid all the absolute referencing. Could use Sequence for the BINS =SEQUENCE(ROUNDUP(F3,-1)/10,,10,10). Also Do you need to use Ctrl+Shift+Enter for an array formula? Figured 365 would eat that up with just the range since it'd be a dynamic array. Always enjoy these. Missing those live streams though. ;)
Cheers DC, I’m off to check out =SEQUENCE. I think the UA-cam lives are a thing of the past now, but they happen regularly in the member communities ;-)
@@TigerSpreadsheetSolutions Sad about the live streams but I'll be about if you ever do it again. ;) for sequence you could replace the 10s in my example formula with a cell reference that could be used to change the bin size if you wanted.
Wondering if Frequency can be used alongwith SUM.? have got a data table with 2 columns A with dates and B with Amounts I want total of amounts ranging between 2 dates. Say from 6th Jan to 5th Feb, 6th Feb to 5th March... and so on. Will FREQUENCY work ?
Was the =FREQUENCY formula new to you, and have you got it working? Let me know in the comments 👇
A great video. That will be a time saver. Much thanks!
Cheers Adam - you’re welcome!
Superb.. FREQUENCY is something totally totally new for me..🥂
Add on for the day..🤘
Thanks for sharing..👍
Great to hear Mohit, thanks!

Thank you! I will give it a try. Previously I just did a countifs formula or had to pull up R. This looks much simpler.
COUNTIF is great for discrete data. With both formulae you are well-set. Thanks for watching!
Amazing stuff as always
Thanks, Antonio!
Hello, amazing videos!, just wondering how can I add a delete button and code it to delete a row on VBA?
Start by recording the code using them macro recorder, then adapt it to your purpose
Thank you 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
previously I'd use Data add on > Histogram. but this way seems more flexible and easier to customise
Absolutely - thanks for watching!
Brilliant!
Thanks, Bart!

Mohit - I think SUMIFS is best, we do have a tutorial - just do a UA-cam search
@@TigerSpreadsheetSolutions ohh.. that great.. sure will give a search..
Thanks,🤘🥂
could you get the same result using COUNT or COUNTIF?
Not with ‘continuous’ data such as the figures used here. COUNTIF is great for discrete data such as text.
