There is no twinning on his feet, the now point in different directions, there is now some negative space between his right arm and his chest so it reads better(look at the shadows on the ground) the angle of his pose is way more dynamic.

The armor being less shiny is another symptom of them moving away from basic design tenets that are there to make it more obvious where your character is on screen and what he's doing. I'm not particularly impressed by basic art design mistakes like that. You get a more "realistic" looking image, but you also get one that's worse at relaying information to the player.

I think the absence of these details, this environmental horror is what Blizzard got wrong with D3 and is getting wrong with D4. Both of those games has environments that look so stale by comparison. And on top of those stale environments D3 + D4 have the most cartoonish battle effects pasted on top of it. You don't feel like you are a part of the world like you do in D2. You feel like a gaudy sticker pasted on top of it.

The pillars lack detail, not all the bodies are the same, some have been censored while some look better. Are those breakable barrels or did you but barrels in the game that can't be broken?

personally not a fan of the new 'realistic' looking playing animations. original paladin stance looks like he's ready to fuck something up with that hammer and is bouncing with vigor while the new one looks like he's at a resting stance.
resurrected maul looks way too small compared to vanilla maul. You can see the difference right away and it's so obvious. maybe they are just trying to give the weapon a realistic size, and they are doing the same thing with other weapons and shields, like the kite shield and crystal sword. It just looks way smaller than vanilla diablo. I think this is an aspect that needs more attention, because it does not feel satisfying when the biggest weapon in resurrected looks about the same size as any 1hand weapon in vanilla.
Why didn't they do this with WoW? it's 2021. You'd think they would've long since upgraded their graphics engine... But I guess it doesn't matter at this point, since WoW is on it's way out.

Atmosphear is 90% of a game, diablo proves. The thing is that atmosphear contains almost everything included the pace of gameplay, inputs and the gameplay by itself. This game is all about atmosphear gameplay is nothing
Please make phootage or original game, not "classic mode". In original it looks a bit better - you can see that on your video there are border of larger tiles on floor - it is how new engine for classic graphics works. Also you can see pixels like that only in windowed mode of Diablo 2 original.
Valid opinion my friend, do as you like. The only games I play are blizzard classics. Also, VV studio wasn't part of the lawsuit. If you want to stop blizzards revenue then stop paying for WOW subs (and if you wanna go a step further stop playing and buying cosmetics in OV & and HS).
